The timeline on this page outlines noteworthy events and milestones that have occurred throughout the history of Legendary Hardcore.
Pre-Reset
Legendary Hardcore was launched on the 9th of February 2025. Initially players were permitted to use hacked clients, as with jake276493's previous server The Superflat Experiment.
On the 20th of February it was announced that the server would be reset and that hacking would be prohibited going forwards.
2025
February 2025
Through February, 109 players connected to the server (including alt-accounts) and 41 players died. Players generally maintained distance from one another, but remained friendly in chat messages.

- 22 February 2025- The server reopens with a new map and with hacking no longer permitted.
- 22 February 2025- The end is freed by lukasisgoated, ta7zz and VacuumLorde. After slaying the dragon, the egg is accidentally knocked through the portal and falls in to Yehomere’s possession leading to the Dragon Egg Conflict.
- 23 February 2025- An unknown player uses an exploit to crash the server leading to downtime and rollbacks
- 28 February 2025- Clawmach begins work establishing Souez- the server’s first town.

- 15 March 2025- Rising tensions and a series of clashes between Thridz and _6_1 see The Empire embroiled in a manhunt, leading to the entrapment of_6_1 and supporters.

- 16 March 2025- Yehomere is killed whilst attempting to free _6_1.
- 16 March 2025- Thridz dies in an elytra accident.
- 16 March 2025- Prisoners are released from their traps.
- 17 March 2025- Home Town, Souez, Spawn Town and various other settlements throughout the Spawn Region are destroyed in widespread griefing. Despite efforts to rebuild, most towns are abandoned soon after and many players migrate further away from the Spawn Region. This exodus leads to a decline in the Empire’s active members.
- 18 March 2025- A small conflict erupts in Spawn Town and is one of the first instances of a fight involving multiple combatants on each side.
- 19 March 2025- Updesh is accidentally killed by BlueLegionary while practising mace combat.
- 19 March 2025- A paid advertisement leads to an influx in new players joining the server.
- 19 March 2025- The server reaches the milestone of 500 joins.
- 31 March 2025- The Nick Incident occurs, in which several donators are muted for impersonating other players and breaking chat rules.

- 29 April 2025- Four defensive towers are erected across the Spawn Region by Flamethrower98 at coordinates where X and Z are 1,000. The towers contain food, gear and beds for new players.
May 2025
730 players joined the server in May and 414 players died. A large and sustained increase in Portuguese speaking players joining the server occurred.

- 26 May 2025- The Brazilian YouTuber Zvelid creates a video about the server, attracting a large number of South American and Portuguese speaking players.
- Late May 2025- Several players are killed by Stamidios, but are later revived following the discovery that an exploit had been used to locate players. Stamidios is banned on the 28th of May 2025.
