Bossa Nova

“Bossa Nova” was a Brazilian alliance that existed on the server. Its origin occurred organically, through the active and direct contact of the player Neto3005 in the chat, via the classic question: “Algum br?” (“any Brazilian?”). After a few brief interactions in the chat, Neto3005 met and established a connection with the player Salefranguito. In the following days, new players made contact and formed new ties, especially the player “Jodesvaldo.” Thus, the creation and birth of the Discord server took place.
Origin
The history of the alliance is directly intertwined with the story of this player (Neto3005), especially with regard to its founding base. Initially designed to be his home and that of his partner Salefranguito, it gradually became a meeting point for Brazilian players as the group progressed. However, after being destroyed more than three times, including the presence of signs containing racist messages against Brazilians, Neto3005 and his friend eventually moved far away, leaving the base as a reminder of their stories and as a waystation and supply point for new players.
However, at their new location, tragedy struck: Neto3005 suffered a significant drop in ping, to the point that he was killed by a zombie inside his own home.
Since its founding, the Bossa Nova server had more than 40 members. It was a place where Brazilian players shared requests, comments, anxieties, jokes, as well as asked for help with their needs.
Its policies included the protection and unity of Brazilian players; the sharing of resources and demands; and peace, the principle of non-violation, cultural exchange, and the fight against any form of unjustified aggression. Its policy was also absolutely opposed to players who acted in bad faith toward other players.
Outcome
After the death of Neto3005, the idea of this alliance gradually dissolved. However, it served as the seed for the emergence of Porto Seguro, which went on to operate not only as a city, but as an order.
