Types of deaths

Below is every death slot that could be on your bingo card. All deaths were pulled from the death channels; therefore, if it is here, it has happened on the server at least once.

Admin

Killed by one of the admins. [BossCoww, foot1221, Natonite_, Newuser1234, ThowanPlays (admin account name changes sometimes), Yehomere, jake276493]

Blew up

Appears when the player is killed by TNT activated by redstone mechanisms, fire, dispensed out from a dispenser, by an end crystal triggered by the ender dragon re-summoning sequence finishing, by a minecart with TNT that wasn't triggered by a player or mob, or by the explosion of a fireball or wither skull.

Creeper

Includes “blew up by creeper”

Discovered the floor was lava

Dying from standing on magma block.

Doomed to fall

Appears when the player takes any damage caused by an entity, then dies to a greater than 5 block fall

Fell from a high place

Death caused by fall damage after falling a significant distance (typically 23+ blocks, where fall damage reaches its maximum of 20 hearts/40 HP).

Goat

Includes being fireballed by ghast.

Hit the ground too hard

Death caused by fall damage after falling a moderate distance (typically 4–22 blocks).

Killed by Drowned

Includes being impaled by Drowned.

Appears when the player is killed by a bed exploding in the Nether or the End, or by a charged respawn anchor exploding in the Overworld or the End.

PvP

Any player kill that displays the players' names, for example, crystals typically do not give the name of the killer, so they don't count.

Tried to swim in lava

Death caused by the burning damage-over-time (DoT) effect after being ignited by lava, rather than the direct contact damage from the lava block itself. This happens when the player survives the initial lava contact (e.g., due to high health, armor, or Fire Resistance) but succumbs to the burning effect afterward.

Warden

Includes sonically-charged shriek death messages.

Went up in flames

Direct damage from being inside a fire block (e.g., fire ignited by flint and steel, lightning, or spread from another fire source). This occurs when the player is actively standing on or engulfed by the fire block itself, without the burning damage-over-time (DoT) effect having accumulated enough to kill them.

Wither

Includes "shot by a skull from Wither"

Withered Away

The damage type must be wither (ticking effect damage), and it delivers the killing blow.
