The Valley was the main capital of the Legion of Concordia and one of the settlements founded by LazarFish0226. It served as a major supply hub for the Legion and its allies, and as such was only made available to Praefectus, trusted Primus, and high-ranking members of the Order of the Sanctum. The Valley contained farms for ghast tears, gold, iron, gunpowder, wood, totems, cobblestone, wither roses, sniffers, and more supplies that were essential to Legion operations in sister cities (Haven and Zenith) and their charity work.

Founding

After a previous Legion base was leaked, LazarFish0226 and his inner circle chose to move their operations to an old base owned by BloodyOrphan, a long-time ally. While LazarFish0226 and his group focused on the technical aspects of the base, BloodyOrphan and a new Legion recruit, AppleSnicket, focused on the aesthetic aspects of the base. Before construction could be completed, both LazarFish0226 and GrizzlyBear654 died in the same night and the ensuing loss of leadership resulted in the progression halting.

Upon the arrival of a new leader, Yendore, progression resumed. Yendore invited Steepboots12 to work with him and together, they both continued the construction of the Valley. When Yendore died, Steepboots12 built a crypt in his honor.

Leadership

During the early days of construction, LazarFish0226 and GrizzlyBear654 served as leaders. When they both died on the same night, an outsider named Yendore picked up the slack and continued construction. When Yendore died, Steepboots12 assumed leadership and continued construction. At some point in the future, Huntress1301 gained governance of the town and remained as its leader until its destruction.

The Valley was considered the capital of the Legion of Concordia for two reasons:

  • The core infrastructure of the Legion's operations were centered around the Valley, making it the common point between the different settlements, individual projects, and charity work.
  • The leader of the Legion, Huntress1301, took control of the town and made it her home. As such, it became the de facto capital of the Legion.

Notable Landmarks

Being the homes of many deceased Legion members, the town had multiple historical landmarks that held significance to living Legion members. This includes Yendore's Crypt, where deceased Legion members are laid to rest; Pfry3000's Dragon, which houses a dragon egg and the armor of deceased Legion members; and a memorial to SquirrelMC constructed by BloodyOrphan that depicts a massive squirrel on an island holding a dirt block, immortalizing SquirrelMC's final words for the remainder of the Valley's existence.

Embassy

The Valley, at the time, was the only town in Legendary Hardcore to have an embassy with another group, the Order of the Sanctum. This embassy carried a copy of the original Pact of Concordia, signed by both TheCosmicalKing and LazarFish0226. The physical building, constructed by BloodyOrphan, had a stonework exterior with an end-block interior.
