Steepboots12, also known as Steep, was a reputable member of the Legion of Concordia (LoC). He had a passion for looting Bastions for all their treasures and gold.

History

Early Life

Steepboots12 joined on the 31st of July, back when the server was notably calm and peaceful, player killers being a rarity. He got himself full diamond armor and found his friend N1ghttime_, who gave him netherite, the same netherite he would use till his eventual death. Steep made friends with Poorgrammer, a member of the Order of The Sanctum (OTS), and made an effort to gear newbies in hopes of being invited to OTS. His first project was building up a now abandoned town, in which he requested to buy gear from Yendore. First he bought beds, and with the netherite from those he bought totems and gunpowder. Yendore and Steep became friends fast due to similar interests and goals, mainly making a wealth of different farms and getting rich. With this, Yendore invited Steep to his farm base (now known as The Valley), where Steep contributed making some farms and builds. With these contributions he was considered a member of the LoC. Though, this was before the eventual merge and rankings were established, and he had not met anyone else in the group aside from Yendore at this point.

That One Farm

Steep and Yendore went into the nether to make a bartering farm together. Although Yendore was given gold boots for safety by Steep, Yendore not having a totem equipped in his offhand led to tragedy. Steeps closest friend on the server died, doomed to fall by Bingot. Receiving a third of Yendore’s inheritance, it was only after Yendore’s death that Steep met the only other member of LoC, Huntress1301. Steepboots12 dubbed Huntress1301 as the new leader of the duo. After Huntress1301 invited CapnLightning over for a tour, Steep suggested their groups merge. While Steep and Huntress had wealth, CapnLightning had manpower, and the merge went well with Huntress1301 and CapnLightning becoming Co-leaders of LoC. Steepboots12 became the first Praefectus with establishment of the ranking system borrowed from OTS, authority second only to the Legatus (leaders).

Following the creation of new LoC in October 2025, Steepboots12 met many new people, such as Tigergrace, Omi_Chan, MissLea_, Dero9, and more. The member count only grew more come November and December 2025, and he was working on various Christmas Gifts. He gifted netherite armor, diamonds, a trident, and more to ShadyMelody, a relatively new member who joined in November. He did the same for other the aforementioned members, such as Omi_Chan, MissLea_, and was working on a gift for CapnLightning as well. Later in December, he was working on a brilliant gift, consisting of multiple netherite armor sets, crystals, TNT, and more for Cozier_, as a reward for her progress in crystal pvp (CPVP).

Accidental Demise

On the 30th of December, Steepboots12 and Cozier_ were play-fighting with maces, and Steep equipped a totem a millisecond behind a fatal smash by Cozier_. There was an appeal to see if the totem not equipping and popping was due to server lag, but with lack of replay footage evidence it was all for naught. Steep regrettably died just before the new year, leaving Huntress1301 as the final original member of the old LoC group.
