ShadyMelody, often referred to as Shady, is the resident librarian and one of many architects of Legion of Concordia, brought in at the rank of primus as she was trusted and known by CapnLightning, Dero9, MissLea_, and Omi_Chan.

Early Life

ShadyMelody joined the server on the 16th of November, 2025. On their first day they waited for their friend CapnLightning in the Spawn Region, who immediately gave them diamond armor, elytra, rockets, food, and direction to Haven. At the end of their first session, a long one, they had flown and walked all the way to the nether portal of Haven, a capital city of the Legion of Concordia (LoC) group. Not long after exploring around, Steepboots12 gifted her netherite armor with LoC blacksmith lore inscribed and a shulker of signed books for the library she would soon make, kicking off her collection. The chaotic sibling vibes she got from Steepboots12 and tigergrace's dynamic was fun, they helped her get rid of phantoms with the Two Birds, One Stone achievement and she felt very welcome.

Building of the Library

Awhile after arriving, exploring Haven, designing the library in creative, and meeting and hanging out people of the group, like Steepboots12 and tigergrace, Shady started material gathering for her first big project. Haven's Library. She made her little shulker shack of chaos underground to store everything she needed. During this time the community center, with all its resources, transferred from Omi_Chan's house to Steepboots12's tavern. She gets Christmas Gifts from Steepboots12, Dero9, and MissLea_. Once having a spot picked out with CapnLightning's help, the exterior of the library was made across a couple weeks, with the group voting for an additional tower. Towards completion of the exterior, Steepboots12 was regrettably killed by CoZier_ with a mace, playfighting. The interior is currently still being worked on as the build will host Haven's 35 librarian villagers, for every enchantment of its highest tier. Credit to HornetBunnies, who prevented utter disaster, putting out fire from a rogue lightning strick not long after arriving at Haven. Once notified, Shady added lightning rods to the tower's chimney.

Some sidequests Shady worked on was helping Dero9 with the wall around the mooshroom mushroom (which was continuously made useless by endermen), fetching frogs for Dero9's froglight farm, gathering snowblocks to put around the spawn-proofing froglights, extending residential roads around the library, editing the Legion of Concordia wiki, and hanging out with MissLea_ & Dero9 while they made their Minecraft-Face Mount Rushmore. Shady is also given a tour of The Valley by MissLea_, getting coordinates to important redstone farms like the Raid Farm and Automatic Mob Farm. The Automatic Mob Farm was strangely broken upon arrival.

The More the Merrier

On the 7th of January 2026, Shady flew over to spawn and onboarded UnknownChaos18, her irl friend, giving them diamond armor, elytra, rockets, food, and direction to Haven, much like what was done for her by Capn. After this endeavor, she stayed at spawn awhile longer to meet up with Dero9, who helped her make her end stasis for quick, easy access to spawn. Some time after this, during a bout of promotions and new members coming in, Dero9 was tragically slain by endermen. The next day, UnknownChaos18 arrived at Haven. Shady gave her friend a tour, and extended the residential roads down to where her friend was building.
