Bolb (a.k.a. 01838, clynck, ShorterSeal) is best known for repeatedly breaking the server’s strict “no alt accounts” rule — so often, in fact, that it has become part of the lore and a long-running meme.

We are Bolb. Assimilate.

The most common phrase, “We are Bolb”, often accompanied by a GIF of a Borg from the Star Trek universe, is frequently quoted by the community in the context of alting jokes.

Legend has it that everyone on the server is a Bolb alt. While this is almost certainly an exaggeration, there is likely a Bolb playing on the server right now. It might be your enemy. It might be your teammate. You’ll never know—until he’s caught, and a new one rises from the ashes of those before him.

History

Bolb

The first grandBolb joined the server on 27 June 2025, immediately heading to the ++ quadrant to establish a base roughly 20k blocks out in both directions.

While transporting a villager in a boat, a creeper prematurely ended both Bolb and the villager.

01838

It took some time before Bolb returned on a new alt, 01838, joining the server on 13 November 2025.

He was quickly geared up by Pannekoek15NL, who had befriended him through Ultimate Hardcore.

01838 then pulled a “Hippieflippy” and was sentenced to slavery, including gathering 10 shulkers of stone and 10 shulkers of andesite.

He eventually died to a TNT minecart trap at spawn, which he believed was set by Melodyth.

clynck

Not long after, on 14 January 2026, Bolb reappeared on a new alt named clynck.

He was immediately suspected of being a Bolb alt by Pannekoek15NL, though not by the admins.

clynck died after KingConqueror trapped him in retaliation for killing KingConqueror’s friend, JustFrenchFry.

ShorterSeal

Bolb returned again on 9 March 2026 under the alt ShorterSeal, once again being geared by Pannekoek15NL.

ShorterSeal used a “girly” skin to avoid suspicion — clearly not well enough, as the admins caught and banned him before he could die.
