Rectangalo joined Legendary Hardcore after deciding to take hardcore survival more seriously. During his time on the server, he became known for establishing The Polygon, assisting new players, maintaining remote supply infrastructure, and eventually joining Nothing Stays Hidden Forever (HIDDEN).

Early Days

Rectangalo first joined Legendary Hardcore on a whim, having never previously played hardcore seriously and viewing the server as an opportunity to experience the gamemode properly.

Upon joining, he was met by several helpful players. Among them was erock04, who provided him with an initial kit, allowing him to begin his journey with considerably more resources than he would otherwise have had.

Shortly afterwards, Rectangalo traveled for approximately thirty minutes across the Nether roof before establishing himself in a new area.

The Polygon

After his initial journey, Rectangalo established a dock where he spent a considerable amount of time fishing.

The dock eventually became the foundation of what would become The Polygon, a public outpost intended to serve as a useful stopping point and resource center for other players.

Although The Polygon was never completed to its original intended scale, the outpost nevertheless became useful to numerous players throughout its existence.

Support from Other Players

During the construction of The Polygon, two players visited Rectangalo under the pretense of conducting trades. Instead of simply trading, both players provided him with substantial amounts of resources.

Galxy_Cat provided Rectangalo with an Elytra.

Not_A_Griefer provided multiple Shulker Boxes containing experience bottles, gunpowder, paper, and other resources.

These contributions significantly accelerated the development of The Polygon and Rectangalo's subsequent activities.

The 400k Stash

Following the arrival of the first outsiders at The Polygon, including Microwve0ven and KingHakari, Rectangalo used his newly acquired Elytra to travel approximately 400,000 blocks from the central areas of the server.

There, he established a small remote stash intended for storing supplies away from the more populated regions of the world.

The stash became part of a larger transportation and emergency infrastructure system that Rectangalo developed using his knowledge of player stasis mechanisms.

Stasis Network

Using his knowledge of Petobby stasis systems, Rectangalo established five separate stasis chambers across the server.

The five systems were positioned as follows:

• End Gateway Stasis — Located near an End Gateway, allowing Rectangalo to quickly return toward Spawn and assist new players or conduct trades.
• Polygon Stasis — Located near The Polygon.
• Stash Stasis — Located at his remote stash.
• Nether Stasis — Located within the Nether.
• Remote Overworld Stasis — Located at a random position approximately 120,000 blocks from the center of the Overworld.

Together, these systems allowed Rectangalo to move between distant locations rapidly and maintain access to his various operations.

Joining HIDDEN

After becoming established and acquiring the equipment necessary for longer-distance operations, Rectangalo contacted Tsuginami regarding membership in Nothing Stays Hidden Forever (HIDDEN).

He had discovered HIDDEN through the Legendary Hardcore wiki and believed that the organization's activities aligned with his preferred playstyle.

Rectangalo subsequently became associated with HIDDEN as an operative.

Hardcore Death Bingo

Shortly before a major advertising campaign for Legendary Hardcore, the server announced Hardcore Death Bingo, an event requiring players to complete predetermined death-related objectives.

Rectangalo immediately developed a strategy involving several of his real-life friends.

After two unrelated deaths had already completed part of his bingo board, he arranged for his friends to assist in completing the remaining rows.

The strategy resulted in a final completion time of 8 hours and 26 minutes.

Rectangalo's completion became one of the notable results of the Hardcore Death Bingo event.

Later Activities

During the final period of his life on Legendary Hardcore, Rectangalo increasingly focused on improving The Polygon and assisting newer players.

He regularly supplied newcomers with useful resources, including stacks of Golden Carrots obtained from PoorGrammar313.

His activities during this period were largely centered around maintaining the outpost, providing resources to other players, and making the early stages of survival easier for newcomers.

His death marked the end of a relatively short but highly active period on the server, during which he established The Polygon, developed a large-scale network of stasis chambers, traveled hundreds of thousands of blocks from Spawn, assisted new players, and became associated with Nothing Stays Hidden Forever.

Legacy

Although The Polygon never reached the scale originally envisioned by Rectangalo, the outpost became a useful location for players and remained one of the most significant projects associated with his time on Legendary Hardcore.

His extensive use of remote stasis infrastructure also demonstrated an unusual approach to surviving and operating across the enormous distances of the server.

Rectangalo is additionally remembered for his involvement in the Hardcore Death Bingo event, his efforts to assist new players, and his contributions to the server's developing community.
