Unit0004

Overview

Unit0004, sometimes known as unitfour or just Unit, was a farmer who joined Legendary Hardcore on February 8, 2026, and was killed on June 24, 2026 shortly after grame graduation, with 1 day, 2 hours, and 30 minutes total playtime.

Origins

Unit0004 first spawned about 3,000 blocks away from spawn in a grassy field. The area was mostly populated by new players who had just spawned, and was lightly covered with small bases and other builds. Having spawned in at night, he dug himself a hole in the ground and read the guide until morning. He explored the region and allied himself with another player (I sadly can't remember who) and got his first armor and tools. Shortly afterwards, the death of his ally prompted him to venture out from his region.

Traveling to Spawn Town

After his ally died, he decided to find out what (0,0) would be like, and began his travel via boat. He then discovered the obsidian highways, which enabled him to move at a (relatively) quick pace. However, the road was not without hazards, and since he was kitted only with iron armor at the time, he had several near deaths due to skeletons and other mobs on his way.

Discovery

After a long journey, he finally reached Spawn Town. With little food, he attempted fishing in the few water sources there, and was discovered by skogsloparen. He was quite afraid at first, but after a brief interaction, he was given his first and only set of enchanted diamond armor and tools.

"Now What?"

Unsure of what to do now that he was decently equipped, Unit0004 tried several occupations on the server, being:

• Coal mining
• Diamond mining
• Almost dying
• Farming

Farming turned out to be the best fit for him, and he set up Unit0004's Farmer's Market in an abandoned(?) shack he found at Spawn Town.

Farmer's Market

The Farmer's Market is what got Unit0004 most of his totems and netherite. He sold cookies and bread, as well as wheat, cocoa beans, and sugarcane to more experienced players in exchange for resources. (Honestly, most of the transactions were probably just out of pity.) During his time running the Farmer's Market, he was given a Certificate of Farming by foot1221.

After the Market being griefed and raided several times while he was offline, he closed the shop indefinitely.

Leaving Spawn Town

In early June, Unit0004 took his crops and decided to leave Spawn Town in favor of setting up a base away from other players. He discovered a mountain range about 10,000 blocks out, and decided to set up a temporary base inside a mountain.

For most of the month, he spent his time expanding his base and improving its storage systems. He set up several farms inside of it for future wheat, carrot, and apple harvesting. He also discovered a dog, which he tamed and armored. During this time, he had the idea to build a Grand Exchange at or near spawn where players could trade safely.

Returning to Spawn Town (bad idea btw)

On June 23, he decided that he would return to Spawn Town temporarily to trade for some resources, such as firework rockets and armor trims. Unfortunately, while he was interacting with a chest, he was attacked with crystals by Somecabbagekid, a Beach member, and died before he was able to turn around.

(I'm confident my death was karma that I didn't practice violin that morning lol)
