Cimon is an experimental faction inspired by Nomic. It was created by Natonite, who despite being one of the founders is not part of the group, only taking the role of the person running the polls, as well as declaring their results.
About
Cimon is an experimental political faction that is governed entirely by the daily vote of its members. Cimon has no fixed structure, no permanent roles and no permanent leader. Everything that exists in Cimon exists because its citizens voted for it.
Each day, Cimonians have the opportunity to put forward and show support for proposals, with the highest voted proposal going to poll. If the poll passes with a majority, the proposal is enacted or codified in the constitution. Almost anything can be proposed by Cimonians- inviting players to join Cimon, adding or amending rules to the faction, electing members to specific roles, establishing alliances and choosing where to pool resources. Anything that has been proposed can later be undone, with the exception of the foundational first laws.
Recruitment in Cimon is unlike anywhere else on Legendary Hardcore. Most large factions require players to rack up days of playtime and establish a reputation before being considered for membership. In Cimon, only grames - players with less than 24 hours of playtime - are eligible to join, and only by being voted in. Veteran players can watch, trade with and donate to Cimon, but can never join the faction or participate in the faction's democratic process. Recruitment is only available for new players, and once admitted they are a Cimonian for life and after death.
Founders of Cimon
The three players chosen by Natonite as founders are Wubbee, ali_jokker, PurelyReal. As of July 27th 2026, only Wubbee is still active on the server with ali_jokker dying while flying with an elytra and PurelyReal being banned for refusing to connect without VPN and not listening to the admins about not rejoining the server until the issue was solved.
