The Life and Death of BYBY2023

Early Beginnings

BYBY2023 joined on August 10th, 2026, the very first day of what would later be known as the Grame Apocalypse. During his first hour, the constant influx of deaths from the new players would slowly reveal to him just how deadly this server could be. “I noted that there would be a death nearly every minute, if not two within the same minute.”

He got in contact with a German Grame that gave him Base Coords, but before BYBY2023 could arrive that Grame had perished, leaving the base to himself. On his way to the base, a known Beach member known as BlastProtection4 stumbled upon him while bunkering down for the night, however BP4 did not kill BYBY, he instead gave him a totem and flew off. This was BYBY’s first taste of how easy it would be to die on this server, as well as the moment an idea for how he would play the rest of the server would begin to form.

He decided from that moment on, he would be a “True Pacifist”, meaning he would not even hit another player, regardless of if it was self-defense or not. He knew this would eventually lead to his demise one day, but he would rather “Die proud than die ashamed”. Upon reaching the base of his first fallen friend, he began to gear up and get ready for what this server had to offer. But, as time went on, BYBY realized he would not last long without allies, so he sought out fellow Grames to help him. He met his first trio not long after. Wizard_Reign, and not long after his second ally TonyBaboney. Together they grew stronger and moved into an old, abandoned base created by Swanson Jr.

Through Wizard_Reign, BYBY met the most influential person in his LHC Life, a player known as Wizard_Snoot. Wizard_Snoot gave BYBY and Wizard_Reign a Grame kit, and that was the moment BYBY knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life. He was going to help other Grames, exactly like how Wizard_Snoot had helped him.

BYBY’s first major loss was Wizard_Reign, who died on August 13th to a Warden. The Trio, now a duo, tried to find several replacements, none of which quite fit like Wizard_Reign had. Wizard_Reign’s last words to the server were “Everyone has to die, nothing can last forever. like a blooming rose you want its beauty to last forever but it can't and soon the rose dies, but it comes back every time.” before he went his separate way. Eventually TonyBabony decided he wanted to go solo, leaving BYBY to himself.

Mid Life

BYBY kept in contact with Wizard_Snoot, and for a time that was the only individual he spoke to, aside from the occasional contact with TonyBaboney. He learned of the existence of LoC (Legion of Concordia) through Wizard and decided he would become strong enough to join them one day, and actually assist Wizard and his allies. During this time, BYBY helped a significant number of Grames with Grame Kits that at first, Wizard had made to give to them, before finally being kits that BYBY made himself. During his time on the server, BYBY helped a total of 54 individually different Grames, and though many of them didn't make it, he tried very hard to keep them alive. BYBY made the decision to make the old base Swanson Jr. made into his permanent base, even if it was quite near spawn, for easier access to and from Spawn.

BYBY2023 would eventually help a Grame known as Ryan, before befriending him and taking him under his wing. BYBY would spend his time helping Ryan gear up, happy to finally have a Duo partner to work with and trust. During this time BYBY would mention wishing he could learn more about Beach’s communications, which would later lead to Operation BYBY.

He would also go on to join a faction known as the Justice League, with notable members being Host, Sketchy, and Mremmerman. This group would be his first faction, and one he would spend some time helping develop plans and ideas with. Around this time is when Ryan killed his first innocent Grame.

The Coverup

BYBY2023 had known Ryan for about 2 weeks in real life at this point and had played many hours with him in game. Seeing this kill message shocked him, but he assumed it was for a good reason. Upon hearing Ryan wished to inside beach, and was going to kill Grames to do it, BYBY was not supportive, but helped cover Ryan’s tracks out of loyalty to his duo partner, lying to a notable player in BYBY’s life DonEatsLambBread to ensure Ryan would not be found. This cycle would continue for 2 more grame deaths before BYBY told him to stop or he would kick Ryan from the Duo. This is when things turned for the worse for BYBY.

Operation BYBY

On September 5th, at approximately 7 PM CST, BYBY logged on with Ryan into their base, before he saw a nametag of a third player underneath the base. Knowing the base must have been found, but not suspecting foul play, BYBY dug into a large crystal trap, and immediately began to get crystaled before logging out. While trying to get help, Ryan repeatedly tried to coax BYBY to get back onto the server, mentioning if he didn't they would kill Ryan, as well as other things to try to get him on. That is when BYBY2023 contacted several friends, including SwineMaster, and Williamuns. These two contacted a player known as gnagalicious, who arrived at the base and killed the crystal trapper. However, Ryan was nowhere to be found. Upon logging on, BYBY knew that this had not been any ordinary trap, he had been insided. So, he set up a trap with gnagalicious in a secondary base, and got Ryan to arrive, where gnagalicious killed him, bringing Operation BYBY to a successful victory.

The End of BYBY2023

All good things must come to an end. And for BYBY2023, that was at 2 AM CST on the 7th of September while sleep deprived, trying to help DonEatsLambBread with a potential player killer at 0,0. When BYBY2023, he tried to pick a fight with elf1 to distract him until help could arrive, but he promptly got crystaled, and could not save himself in time, thus, bringing an end to BYBY’s life.

“Well guys, this has been one motherfucking long journey. And although I didn't get to do everything I wanted to do, I want you guys to know I am dying a happy man. Throughout this server I counted every Grame I helped. I helped 54 Grames in my Life. Many of them died, sure, but not all of them. And I got what I had wanted most, aside from helping players, since I started this server, which was to matter to someone. I feel like in the end, I did matter, and that makes me happy. I truly say this to you guys from the bottom of my heart, I love you guys. You are some of the funnest mother fuckers I have ever played with. I think to leave, I'll quote my favorite line from my favorite movie, as I feel it's only appropriate.
