Asterion was a settlement in Legendary Hardcore that existed for much of 2026. The place was known for having its own community, buildings, gardens, and storage areas, as well as keeping its coordinates relatively private.
During its existence, Asterion became an important hangout spot for many players. However, in August 2026, the settlement was destroyed after an attack by Aetherlon, who reportedly used multiple Withers in the area. Later on, Asterion's coordinates were leaked, leading to the settlement being abandoned for good.
Story
Creation and development:
Asterion appeared sometime before June 2026 and, over the following months, developed into a settlement inhabited by various players.
The community had different structures and areas for production and socializing. Among them were the Asterion gardens, mentioned by players during June, as well as a manor used by community members.
During this period, Asterion remained relatively safe due to the limited knowledge of its location. Several messages recorded in the chat show players asking for coordinates or trying to find out who was present in the settlement.
The last few months:
In June and July 2026, Asterion continued to be used regularly.
Players mentioned building the gardens, distributing food, and holding meetings among the settlement members.
Shortly before its destruction, Asterion was still functioning as an active community.
Dead_K3y was among the players connected to Asterion during its last months, involved in activities related to the settlement, including building the gardens and organizing resources and food.
Destruction:
On August 8, 2026, Asterion was destroyed. According to later reports, Aetherlon was responsible for destroying the settlement. Among the records about the event, there is the claim that several Withers were summoned in the Asterion area, causing major damage to the buildings. The event quickly became a topic of conversation in the chat.

The destruction marked the end of normal occupancy of Asterion. Coordinates Leak After the attack, Asterion's coordinates also ended up being leaked. On August 8, Dead_K3y said:
"asterion got leaked so I don't care anymore"
The leak made it even harder to preserve what was left of the settlement, as its location became known to more players. On August 8, 2026, Asterion was destroyed.
Aetherlon, formerly known as PixelMiner98, died on the same day Asterion was destroyed, killed by Aluminimium.
Memorial:
After the destruction, Asterion began to receive tributes from players who were part of its community.
Aluminimium renamed Aetherlon's elytra after killing him and made a small tribute to Asterion:
"RIP Asterion </3".
The tributes continued even after the physical destruction of the settlement, showing the impact that Asterion had on its former residents.
