Dead_K3y, or Key, is a YouTuber currently showcasing his personal journey on the server. His content and kind demeanor have quickly turned him into a beloved member of the community. As he grows in status and strength, there is no doubt he will bring great things to Legendary Hardcore.

History

Beginnings

Dead_K3y joined LegendaryHardcore for the first time on March 17, 2026. His initial objective was to create a one-off YouTube video to showcase and explore the server. During his initial adventure, he would explore many old, long-since-abandoned bases near spawn. While travelling through a dark oak forest, he would encounter a skeleton wearing a player's head. The head, belonging to SillyWharf82, would be buried and marked nearby.

First Build & YouTube

After his lengthy escapade, Dead_K3y returned to the spawn area in hopes of leaving his mark on the server. His very first build, a small wooden house with a netherrack roof, stands tall to this day (April 13th) with only minor damage. Following the release of his first video on LegendaryHardcore on March 22, 2026, another player, Ertolaw, discovered it and shared it with the rest of the community. Within the coming week, many would visit the house, leaving signs and helping to maintain its structural integrity. Due to the overwhelmingly positive reception of the video, K3y would return to LegendaryHardcore and continue creating content.

First Base & Near Death Experiences

With a new goal in mind of living as long as possible, Dead_K3y set out away from spawn through the nearby dark forest. There, he dug out three rooms at bedrock level and set up his first base beneath The Square. Whilst on a mining venture nearby, he stumbled upon a trial chamber and opted to fight through the trials with iron tools and a severe lack of totems. During one of these encounters, a Bogged skeleton would repeatedly shoot K3y with poisoned arrows, dropping his health to one point in mere seconds. Regretting his decisions to intrude on the trials unprepared, K3y retreated from the trial - a move that likely spared his life in the long run.

Despite his best efforts to hide his domicile, K3y's base was discovered by a player named MBakkour, who would leave his journal inside K3y's storage systems. Unwilling to risk dangerous player contact, K3y packed up most of his valuables and left the dark oak forest. Following a lengthy hike to make distance from spawn, K3y would relocate to a new base. Suddenly, while setting up in-and-out access to the base, he would accidentally fall over 60 blocks, causing his very first totem pop.
