The Empire was an early faction residing in Home Town and a dominant power on the server through March 2025. The identities of The Empire and Home Town were closely tied and so both terms were often used interchangeably. The Empire was the first faction to hunt and punish players for griefing and unprovoked killing.
History

The Empire was formed in early March in response to theft and griefing in Home Town. As the founder and head of Home Town, FamishedAnt1030 was designated the official leader of The Empire. Despite this, Thridz and Updesh are often retrospectively regarded as de facto leaders, especially in the latter period of The Empire's history due to their roles in preventing player killings and the Coalition Against _6_1.
Efforts at recruitment proved successful through early and mid March, and the group grew in both size and influence. However, the deaths of Thridz, RoboticRomo_ and Updesh left the group without active leadership and The Empire fell into a period of stagnation in late March. By the end of March the group had effectively disbanded and many former members had fled the Spawn Region in response to griefing to Home Town.
