Fatalfyre

Overview

Fatalfyre joined the server on August 15, 2025, and is still alive today. He lives tens of thousands of blocks away from spawn, at his base, Voyager's Village. He distances himself from allies or enemies, preferring to stay a neutral solo in any form of server conflict. In fact, only 3 players have seen Fatal in person, including Arklovia, Emuser012, and ShyAlly, all instances occurring at spawn. Fatal is quite active in the chat, and spends a lot of his playtime AFK at one farm or another.

History

After joining the server for the first time, Fatal spend around 45 minutes on exploration and normal starter tasks like getting iron armor and finding food, before having the good fortune to bump into Arklovia, a full netherite player who was thoughtful enough to give Fatal a full diamond set, some food, and two totems, one of which would save his life 16 days later, the story of which is told in the Brushes with death section, and the Second close call subsection. Fatal told Ark that he would repay him after he set up base and was able to get some valuable items, but before Fatal could fulfill this promise, Ark sadly died during an altercation with Pannekoek15NL. After his fortunate encounter with Ark, Fatal decided to set off on his own to set up camp. After an uneventful journey through the nether, Fatal began setting up the base he would name Voyager's Village, including a large personal house perched on top of a small mountain overlooking a plains village he plans to completely overhaul into a detailed megabuild. He also built a small iron farm, villager breeder, and a number of animal and crop farms to take care of any food issues he might have. Ever since then, Fatal has been flying under the radar, furthering his base and obtaining better gear. His last sighting was on the 17th of August, where he ran into Emuser012 and had a conversation about the possibility of a trade for some ice to build some nether highways. After the conversation, Fatal decided to look for an ice biome himself and left spawn. Nobody has made contact with him since.

Brushes with death

First close call

After joining the server for the first time, Fatal immediately had a brush with death at spawn. After holing up in a dirt hut with a wooden door about 5 minutes after joining, he decided to AFK for a few minutes as he wrote an email to a university professor. Unbeknownst to him, a zombie wandered up to his hut and began breaking down the door, and eventually getting into Fatal's hut. Fatal, without armor, weapons, or food, heard the damage sounds and opened his Minecraft tab to see himself at 6 hearts. As he ran out of the hut, another zombie, this one on fire due to the sunlight, hit him once more, bringing him down to 3.5 hearts and lighting him on fire. Fatal managed to reach the river and extinguish himself on exactly half a heart, coming within less than a second from ending his LegendaryHC journey less than 10 minutes after it started.

Second close call (Fatal's only totem pop)

On September 1st, 2025, Fatal was boating through the ocean when he spotted an underwater ruined portal. He exited the boat, but before jumping off he remembered he had to turn an assignment in, and instead of leaving the server, he decided to just AFK on top of the boat for a few seconds as he submitted his assignment. As he clicked alt+tab, his middle finger accidentally pressed the W key for a split second, just before he clicked the other two keys. It happened so fast that he didn't realize he had actually walked off the boat, and was now sinking to the bottom of the ocean. After submitting his assignment, he switched back to Minecraft to find himself at the bottom of the ocean, with very low HP, and most terrifyingly, missing his totem in his offhand. He resurfaced, avoiding death, and after checking replay mod realized the events that occurred. To this day, this remains the only totem Fatal has ever popped.

Future plans

Fatal plans to live in isolation for a while, finishing his beloved Voyager's Village base. After completion, he plans to join a clan or at least make some alliances, maybe take part in a war or two. He would also like to set up a system to help new players, and wants to replicate the help given to him by Arklovia on day 1, without which he likely would have died on day 2.
