History

Early Days

First Day

mossCarvin started playing on LHC on the 9th of May 2026. Upon joining the server, she was greeted by a sight of a jungle, in middle of the night. Instead of playing it safe and hiding in a hole in the ground, she quickly gathered wood and stone, after which she tried to reach a nether portal which someone made close to her spawn point. At that moment, she was spotted by a skeleton, which shot her twice before she managed to get inside the portal, almost killing her. After getting into the nether, she used mushroom stew to restore hunger and bring herself to full health.

Following the close call in her first minutes of playing the server, moss started fully exploring the server, as well as interacting in chat. She made many social mistakes during that time, among which was talking about cords she saw someone leak. Thankfully, nothing bad happened because of it, as the cords were already public knowledge, but it was still a lesson for her to be careful with what she shared in chat. Asking around, she managed to find a player, Obsidipulse, who was willing to sell her an elytra for 3 netherite ingots, which became one of the things she decided to grind for.

At the time, the cords to 7arkington, which had just been griefed, were shared in chat. Moss visited the place, which she found to be in ruins. This was her first time seeing a player-made settlement of this size on the server and it cemented in her the need to discover more about players and teams on LHC, as well as it's history.

After leaving 7arkington, moss got to work on gathering netherite. She spent over an hour in the nether mining for it. During that time, she accidentally fell into lava, which almost ended her run on LHC, as she still had no totems. Thankfully, she had a golden apple, which ended up saving her life. In the end, she managed to get enough ancient debris for the trade and six hours and thirty minutes after joining the server, moss officially was in possession of an elytra.

After finally getting access to faster travel method, moss felt more secure in her ability to survive. With that, she quickly took notice of a player by the name of iluvdogs12345 asking for help in chat. What she did not know was that she was about to start a wild goose chase. Multiple times, moss asked iluvdogs for his cords, but the other player did not know how to see those. She then started asking him about his surroundings and what he remembered from his journey, hoping this way, she'd be able to find him even without cords, as he was still in the Spawn Region. The problem was, this method could only work if iluvdogs stayed in one place, which he did not do. Moss spent the next 50 minutes trying to find him, while receiving very mixed info. She could not find him and seeing as she had to do something IRL, she logged off apologizing for not being able to help him. Upon returning to the server 20 minutes later, she was informed by Not_A_Griefer that iluvdogs managed to figure out how to see his own cords. Five minutes later, moss managed to find him and give him food and some gear. She logged off soon after. iluvdogs12345 died to a creeper on the following day.

Creation of Paradise

After a long travel on the nether roof, moss found herself at the border of the map. Satisfied with where she managed to get and knowing there wouldn't be many people willing to make a trip this long, she decided to build a portal and settle down in proximity to the barrier surrounding the world. After placing down a sign with her name directly next to the barrier, she went on to find a place to live. In the end, she settled down in a nearby village, which she later on modified to suit her needs. This is where she ended up creating her first villager breeder, as well as iron farm and armadillo EXP farm. During her time there, she also created a villger trading hall, but never finished setting the trades and putting all villagers in their places.

Knowing that one day the place could be found, moss decided to leave a book, welcoming whoever found it. In the book, she called the place Paradise, as that is what it was for her in the time she spent there.
