A bright light would shine across LankyFlames eyes, yet, the soul behind them holding a resemblance of something darker, more sinister. He would coil, his body cringing, almost like he was over encumbered. “I-I-I…I can’t hold it back. It’s the darkness, it’s consuming me. No, I won’t give in…I…can’t.” But it was as Lankys will began to strengthen, that the darkness began to take him tenfold. Tendrils of black shadow shot from around his frail, quaking body, shooting through the rocks and fauna like knives, shaking the earth. Soon, he was engulfed in a shadow that threatened to surround and engulfed all who dared to look at it. An unending, overbearing darkness. And at the end of it all…a heart shattering scream. As the darkness cleared, Lanky stood, or so it seemed, he floated in the air, his eyes now white and piercing, he extended his sharp teeth, claws retracting. “I…am awake…you mortals called me Lanky. But my new name…” He swept his long ashen black hair aside “My name is Shadow Heart Dark Star, bringer of ill will.” He clenched he his worn, cloven hands, and all at once he felt his strength returning.
The world shook as the denizens of Legendary Hardcore quaked in fear of Lanky's unending, near incomprehensible, terrifying power. It went as a wave across the land, shattering the minds of the weak, and sending those with strong dispositions into hysteria. Soon, all would come to fear Lanky. Soon, all what know what true pain meant. They would all be sorry.
