As of August 10th, the Order of The Sanctum is perhaps one of the largest and most powerful factions on Legendary Hardcore. The Order bases itself on hunting player killers, and keeping spawn nice and tidy. It acts as the main peace keeping force of Legendary Hardcore, and cooperates extremely closely with Team Vortex in most affairs.
Foundation
The Order of The Sanctum was founded June 25th by two players, SquirrelMC and TheCosmicalKing. The meeting was prompted when Cosmical reached out to Squirrel at spawn, who had just finished repairing the chasm left by RedReaperxd's world eater. The faction was founded at around the time of Spalmipede's dome construction, and the two players agreed to dedicate the faction to the protection of the Spawn Dome. The Order recruited ArtemyTheVorakh a day after, and the following week Bemf and Spalmipede joined the Order. These 5 players made up the Order's ranks for some time.
Unofficial Merge
On July 24th, Spalmipede brought up the possibility of merging with Team Vortex, widely considered the richest faction on the server. TheCosmicalKing reached out to Zanther76, and a dialogue was established. Members from both teams negotiated for about 1-2 days before deciding that both teams would remain separate political entities, but in practice a “full” merge would occur. On August 5th TheCosmicalKing drafted an official Alliance document, which was signed by PoorGrammar313.
Alliances
The Order maintains good relations with the Kingdom of Mellennor, and excellent relations with Team Vortex.
