The Great August Gramepocalypse of 2026, also known as Grameageddon or the Great Grame Flood, refers to an ongoing influx of new players, commonly known as Grames, primarily caused by a video by NeverMyFault, which was shared across various social media platforms.
Cause
On 10th August 2026, NeverMyFault posted an unpromoted video on Youtube Shorts, showcasing a Reddit post made by Natonite a week prior. The video received over 700,000 views in the first 16 hours, prompting hundreds of new players to join the server.
Effects on the server
10th August
Around 13:00 UTC, LHC server filled up with 100 active players, preventing new ones from joining, an instance unheard of before that. As a response, staff introduced the Queue, which prompted mixed reactions from the playerbase. A number of older players demanded extermination of new grames, while many said grames, namely NEW2MINCRFTSYBAU began calling for "uprising" both in game and on Discord. Around 14:20 UTC, staff had to temporarily close the server due to unbearable lag.
From 15:30 UTC onwards, a number of players reported being stuck in the queue despite the LHC server itself having enough space for them.
