About

The Oathbound Covenant is a newly formed faction with 7 members, built on trust, cooperation, and a calm, respectful atmosphere. Though still starting out, the group focuses on building, redstone, and supporting one another as they grow. They follow a strict defensive code which is never start fights, but will stand their ground if attacked. As a young faction, their goal is to expand, strengthen their community, and stay true to their principles.

History

The Beginning

The faction was created by Conifict. He wanted a group that was peaceful but still able to defend itself. He did not like factions that only killed players or factions that refused all combat. He wanted a middle path. He created the Oathbound Covenant and invited players who shared his idea. He also invited his friend Tendensu to help lead the faction. They started building a community area for recruits. Players like PlxnetGD and maxhesboy helped build farms and basic systems. The faction started growing slowly.

The Ambush

Later, Conifict was ambushed by Aluminimium and TheCosmicalKing. The attack forced him and Tendensu to retreat. They had to leave their base and farms behind. After that, they moved and started again. Tendensu rebuilt many farms, but they lost most of their materials. Progress became slower because they had limited time together due to different time zones.

The Boredom

While Tendensu was offline, Conifict tried to complete all advancements for a little challenge. He had wanted to do something while Tendensu was asleep so he could cure his boredom, he had been ambushed multiple amounts of times and grew tired of grinding. He started his quest with completing Adventuring Time! and later started working on A Balanced Diet and needed glow berries from an Ancient City. He entered the Ancient City without knowing the danger. His sound was off due to a previous 1v1 with him and Tendensu in a chess match hosted by Witness_Me. The map had consisted of pillagers which really annoyed him with the sounds, so he lowered the volume and had forgotten to put it to normal eventually. Due to forgetting the volume change, Conifict did not hear the Wardens. More than seven Wardens spawned and attacked him. He began trying to escape but kept landing into a hole, eventually he landed into a 1x1 hole in which he couldn't escape due to the wardens catching up to him and shooting lasers at him. He could not escape and was eventually killed after losing all his totems... He was then banned.

The Aftermath

Even after Conifict’s death, the faction continued. The Covenant did not collapse. Conifict stayed positive and supported its future. Tendensu continued leading and rebuilding. Binnerssss is now being paid by Tendensu to build a recruit city for new members.

Current Status

The Oathbound Covenant is still small but active. It is rebuilding, recruiting, and improving its base. The faction continues to follow its rule of no first attacks and strict self defense only.
