hippieflippy, also known as hippieflip420 and spartan2163, was a reputable player-killer hunter, philanthropist, book collector and Knight of The Order of the Sanctum.

Early Life

hippieflippy (initially joining with the username hippieflip420) joined the server on the 9th of August 2025. During their first day they travelled east from the Spawn Region along the elevated ice highway and found a mooshroom island. On the mooshroom island sat a small castle in ruins, and inside was a chest with iron blocks and food in the form of rotten flesh. The iron blocks were turned into hippie's first set of iron armor, before setting out again and eventually arriving at Bridgetown. With the settlement having only recently been abandoned, many of the farms were still operational and hippieflippy was able to make use of the remaining infrastructure. During their stay at Bridgetown, hippieflippy met Skibidi2019 and the pair quickly became friends. hippieflippy was also joined by Limao_Docinhu and Admdominecraft in Bridgetown, and the trio were each gifted a set of diamond armour and an elytra from MikoYey.

Killing of GuzaoPazug and Servitude

Shortly after receiving equipment from MikoYey, hippieflippy and Limao_Docinhu travelled to The End. At a community XP farm, hippieflippy and Limao_Docinhu met GuzaoPazug- a relatively new Brazilian player. While bridging out from a platform surrounding the XP farm, hippieflippy broke the block on which GuzaoPazug was standing, and they fell to their death in the void. Despite Limao_Docinhu initially stating that GuzaoPazug's death was an accident, Thakrs later discovered that the death was the result of deliberate foul play and the crime was brought to the attention of The Order of the Sanctum.

On the 11th of August 2025, hippieflippy admitted to the killing of GuzaoPazug, but stated that it was Limao_Docinhu who suggested the act and that it was a ‘spur of the moment decision’. SquirrelMC, warden of The Order of the Sanctum, gave hippieflippy the choice between a public execution or indefinite servitude, of which hippieflippy chose the latter.

Initially hippieflippy was made to repair damaged terrain around Spawn Town and to demolish derelict structures. However, the bulk of hippieflippy’s sentence was served underground where he was made to collect 30 shulker boxes of cobbled deepslate. During this period Skibidi2019 tried to argue for their release, but hippieflippy talked them down and told them to let them serve their sentence. The pair made plans to raid a Bastion together when hippieflippy was released, but Skibidi2019 was slain by a Vindicator shortly after whilst attempting to raid a Woodland Mansion. hippieflippy was allowed brief leave from their labour to mourn the death of their friend and prepare a burial.

Release

On the 12th of August 2025 and after over 16 hours of mining, hippieflippy finally filled their final shulker box and they were pardoned for their crime. In total hippieflippy mined over 50,000 blocks of deepslate for The Order of the Sanctum as part of their sentence.

Following their release, hippieflippy was joined by SqueakHD in raiding a Bastion and attaining netherite armour. In the following days hippieflippy helped Naga_Sake with a renewed effort to repair Bridgetown and opened Canes, a chicken restaurant, in Spawn Town.

Later Life

Admission in to The Order of the Sanctum

hippieflippy was recruited by The Order of The Sanctum on the 18th of August 2025 (also known as The Longest Day), on the same day that SquirrelMC was killed in an elytra accident. Through their time in The Order of the Sanctum, hippieflippy became an effective player-killer hunter, securing over 20 direct kills and being involved in the capture and killing of many more.

As well as punishing player-killers, hippieflippy was known for their philanthropy and for supporting new players with armour, tools and other starter equipment.

Book Collecting

hippieflippy was an avid book collector throughout their time on the server and was known to collect signed books from players that they met. In total, hippieflippy was in possession of over 135 books towards the end of their life and helped to kickstart a culture of book collection and trade that did not previously exist on the server.

Death

hippieflippy (named spartan2186 at their time of death) was killed on the 14th of October 2025 by a Nether portal trapped with TNT minecarts. The portal led to a base belonging to a friend, and despite previously knowing it was unsafe, they forgot about the trap in the moments before their death. hippieflippy’s widespread presence and connection with many players left much of the community mourning his death.

Hippie was also known for creating and sharing several slide show videos with music over them, referred to as hippieflippy edits by their creator. Hippie made these videos throughout their time on the server, giving a chronical of their events and a bittersweet goodbye after their death.

Mischief Managed

During his time on the server, hippieflippy had a few interesting moments associated with them.

Escaping Events

hippieflippy devised a plan to see if they could escape the events that are held on LHC. Events store the player's data in a separate location, storing their inventory and position, before warping them to a parallel world where events are held. Players can die in events without worry of losing their stuff, and upon death or completion of the event, they are returned to their location with their original inventory. During hippieflippy's escape, they smuggled out a spawn egg. They would continue to do this during various events, gathering a small stock of them. Some of the last items they were able to escape with were an end portal frame and a single block of bedrock. These items were later confiscated once hippieflippy used one of their spawn eggs to spawn a warden at spawn, resulting in the death of itsnotvivek2. This resulted in all items stolen from events or otherwise acquired in a not-vanilla survival way, to be outlawed.
