Trap Houses were a series of structures built near the server's spawn point, primarily constructed by the player Kosmiau. These buildings were designed with the intent to lure players, particularly newer arrivals, inside before eliminating them through various concealed mechanisms.

The traps proved effective, leading to the deaths of at least 11 documented players as of April 19. This activity established Kosmiau as the player with the highest number of player kills on the server during that period.

The player Vines420, during regular visits to the spawn area to assist new players and maintain the vicinity, became aware of these dangerous structures. Initially operating without knowing the builder's identity, Vines420 actively sought out, disarmed, and documented these trap houses, while also warning newcomers of the threat they posed.

Vines420 undertook an investigation to determine the builder's identity. By comparing the architectural style used in the trap houses to known images of Kosmiau's main base (which Kosmiau had shared on the server's Discord), and by analyzing server statistics that revealed Kosmiau had placed significantly more Sculk Sensors (a common component in redstone traps) than any other player, Vines420 concluded that Kosmiau was responsible for constructing the spawn trap houses.
