RATNOVA is a suprisingly well known grame, as well as astronaut of the LHC space program. He is the first ever grame to visit the server's stratosphere.

History

LHC space program

On 16th of May 2026, RATNOVA was approached by chilipeeper with a proposition to become a member of the LHC space program, as well as their astronaut. Despite how crazy the offer sounded, he agreed, and soon found himself being led by Burgsuer to the silverfish launcher this exact occasion. After arriving, RATNOVA was seated on one of the two pigs sitting in a boat, which would serve as his rocket. Together with Burg, who sat on the other pig, he was sent into the orbit. They managed to travel almost 3 million blocks upwards, before RATNOVA's game was disconnected and stopped him from ascending further. Burgsuer, after traveling up further, avoided a long return by simply using his stasis to get back. After rejoining, Ratnova started to slowly fall, beginning his journey alone back to earth.

Journey back to earth

Since he began his descent, Ratnova has been giving frequent updates on where he currently is in the world. Based on them, the following timeline has been constructed.

• May 16th - Day of the launch. RATNOVA begins his way down at over 2.9 million blocks in the air. On this day, he managed to fall to 2.7 million blocks.
• May 17th - RATNOVA logs back on and reports still being 2.7 million blocks in the air. The reports keep coming in. At 8PM server time, RATNOVA says that he had reached " 2.593000 mill".

• May 18th - RATNOVA logs back on, 2.5 million blocks in the air. At 3:20PM server time, he reports his current cords to be -197 2539100 -6105. RATNOVA receive's a rocket icon next to his name to mark him as the server's first astronaut. For the next few hours, RATNOVA continues to fall. Before logging off for the day, he manages to reach Y level of 1.8 million blocks.
• May 20th - RATNOVA logs back on and after five minutes on the server, reports passing the 1.8 million blocks mark, and currently being at 1.7m. On this day, chilipeeper shares that the newest research showed that eating a chorus fruit would let a player go back to earth instantly. He believes they might have sent RATNOVA too early, therefore making him have to fall millions of blocks, with no instantenous way down. Even with that information, RATNOVA claims to have no regrets. Ten minutes before logging off, Ratnova reports that there are 1.62 million blocks separating him from being back on earth.
• May 21st - RATNOVA logs back on, reporting his Y level to be 1.5 million blocks. He logs off after being on the server just for a few minutes.
• May 28th - After taking a break from the server for a week, RATNOVA returns, still 1.5 million blocks in the air. He proceeds to log off after being back on the server for three minutes.
• May 29th - RATNOVA logs onto the server determined to finish the journey today. He reports to be 1.5 million blocks up, which is consistent with the report from May 21st. Despite his initial statement, RATNOVA ends up logging out at an altitude of 500k blocks.

• May 30 - RATNOVA returns briefly to ask for people to PVP with him on another server. He logs off and returns an hour later, returning to his fall. He reports being at 449k blocks altitude. Determination seems to strike him again, as he proceeds to stay logged on for the next couple of hours. At 6:35 PM server time, RATNOVA touches down on a tree at the landing site, popping his totem in the proccess. He's greeted by fireworks and chilipeeper, ready to congratulate him and pass him the 'RATNOVA's Astronaut Kit' - a full shulkerbox with maxxed out diamond gear and tools, as well as multiple other useful items.
