Butterflied joined Legendary Hardcore on 15 August 2026 and quickly became known as an active Player Killer.

Butterflied is a member of Onyx and is currently one of its last remaining members. His only known ally is Anticore.

Player Killing

Butterflied is a Player Killer with 20 player kills.

The majority of his victims are grames, meaning that most of the players he has killed were relatively new to Legendary Hardcore and had limited playtime.

One of his known victims is Hugwu.

Records from 22 August 2026 showed that only one of Butterflied's victims had more than one day of playtime at the time of their death, reinforcing his reputation for primarily targeting newer players.

Motivation

According to Butterflied, his decision to become a Player Killer was influenced by the bans of two of his friends, TotallyNotJuan and Wikepedia.

He considers the circumstances surrounding their bans to have significantly influenced his perception of the server and contributed to his decision to pursue player killing.

TotallyNotJuan

TotallyNotJuan was one of Butterflied's close friends.

According to Butterflied, TotallyNotJuan was banned for allegedly conducting a DDoS attack against a player he was fighting. The incident occurred while the opposing player was experiencing significant lag and repeatedly disconnecting from the server during the fight.

The incident became one of the reasons Butterflied cites for becoming a Player Killer.

Wikepedia

Butterflied's other friend, Wikepedia, was also banned.

According to Butterflied, Wikepedia had positioned himself near the height limit of the End and killed players who entered the area.

Butterflied considers the circumstances surrounding Wikepedia's ban to have further contributed to his decision to become a Player Killer.

Onyx

Onyx is Butterflied's team.

Following the deaths, departures, or bans of other members, Butterflied became one of the last remaining members of the team.

He has described himself as effectively being the last man standing of Onyx.

Alliances

Anticore

Anticore is Butterflied's only known ally.

The two remain associated while Butterflied continues to operate as a Player Killer.

Reputation

Butterflied has developed a particularly hostile reputation throughout Legendary Hardcore as a result of his activities as a Player Killer.

With 20 player kills to his name, and most of his victims being grames, Butterflied has become a recurring threat to newer players. His willingness to actively hunt other players has made him widely disliked among much of the server's community.

Butterflied himself summarizes his reputation simply as:

“The whole server hates me.”

The statement has since become an apt description of his place within the community: while his activities have made him unpopular among many players, his continued survival and association with Onyx have made him a recognizable figure on the server.

His reputation is therefore not based solely on the number of players he has killed, but also on the persistent hostility surrounding his presence. For many players, encountering Butterflied means the possibility of becoming his next target.
