Alcred, a player who is very occasionally referred to as 'Al' by others, is a long-time survivor of the Legendary Hardcore server and well-established player within the community. He is known to be an avid Hardcore-mode enthusiast, having played the game mode exclusively ever since its initial release and readily acclimating himself to the server's high-stakes environment as a result. Although Alcred is primarily a solo player and is known to live a completely nomadic lifestyle, he has easily managed to make many allies across the server and has quickly become well-respected.

In general, Alcred is known for his overall friendliness towards other players as well as his extensive game knowledge. He has been known to assist new players in the past by granting them enchanted iron armor along with basic supply kits, and has also established himself as a consistently reliable trading partner and confidant amongst other long-time players. Though Alcred has largely established himself as a friendly presence on the server, his Cursed Pacts have caused quite a bit of stir due to the faint chaotic element they introduce into the playerbase. He has already introduced several high-tier armor sets into the server during his lifetime, each with the intent of providing new players a considerable boon in protection at the start of their playthroughs. These armor sets, however, come with their own set of drawbacks - often including mob heads afflicted with Curse of Binding in place of a traditional helmet. Each set also comes with its own individualized set of lore, which player Lunar_fishchips has helped co-author on many different occasions. Due to the innate entertainment value that these sets provide, Alcred's cursed pacts have become a fairly popular topic of discussion amongst new and old players alike.

Trivia:

• Alcred entered an ancient city on his first day in the server, and against all odds, survived despite having minimal gear to his name.
• On a related note, Alcred is also the first player on the server to obtain 100 Warden kills - all of them accomplished by using a sword and a wealth of potions.
• He was the 2000th player to join.
• He was also the first to obtain 100 wither kills (also with a sword).
• He is the first player to collect a piglin head (which was then used to curse a player).
