Backstory

After Cob had joined the server for the first time, he began a nation. It was decently close to spawn with only in a 10k block radius (around 5000 5000). After Cob had been trapped in the nether, two players came to his safety. Those players being hugenoze and, more importantly, Coyote333. Cob had then became teamed up with Coyote333, trusting him and their friendship together. Cob hadn't told Coyote about where he was building his nation. A bit later after, MistyOrca83 had come across the land of the nation. All it had was an unfinished house with a cow farm, wheat farm, Cob's horse, and his dog with a small portal tucked into a cave. Misty offered help with the nation and Cob agreed, in which Misty had built a pillar that Cob had flown on top of and stayed on. "Don't break this" he said as he logged out of the server, not knowing what would be when he joined back. The next day when he got up, he fell from the sky to which the pillar would've been. As Cob looked around, he realized everything was gone. All except for his portal, his dog, and a sign that threatened not to build so close to spawn. After some investigating, he realized it was Coyote. Feeling betrayed, Cob was enraged and was angry at Coyote. Coyote had thought about killing the dog but was talked out of it when he found the base. Coyote claimed he didn't know it was Cob's but Cob did not want an evil teammate. Cob gave 3 options he might consider.

1. He would kill Coyote and get his head or have someone do it for him.
2. He would allow Coyote to pay for what he did with diamonds and such.
3. He would let it go as an accident and forget about it.

Cob logged out after, thinking about the next move. In the morning, Cob had decided to leave it and keep it as an accident. However, when he logged back on, Coyote was dead. Killed himself by suicide. Cob had kept his head ever since until he buried it into a grave at spawn which was later destroyed.

Supposed "Curse"

Cob has an issue with being teamed up with someone only for them to die shortly after. The first instance was with Coyote333, where he killed himself after destroying Cob's future nation. The second person would be BlueLegionary, who died after an assasination attempt with Cob against KenoTM where Keno had used crystals to kill BlueLegionary and nearly killed Cob. The third person to have fallen for this curse would be ViziroinTV, where the self-proclaimed King of the Server died from an enderman. Cob was alone ever since until he stumbled upon ComplexFrquency's base in which he decided to take in Cob as a friend and later teamed up to create Team Vortex. After a little bit, Team Vortex became bigger. It gained 3 more people, those including: PoorGrammar313, ComplexFrquency, spartan2185, PenguinTerry, and lastly, SmarterCob. After the team began to thrive, ComplexFrquency had met Cob's curse face to face after being killed by a Zombie in the new base. He thought about running away, but stayed and they decided to get a new team member, someone known for making farms and being able to get resources easily... Zanther76 was added to the team shortly after. However, in time, after creating an ecosystem and completing numerous advancements, the curse, crawling up Cob, had finally caught up to him.

"Dragonborn Cob"

After becoming ViziroinTV's third-in-command for the server, he wanted a name. Many names got spat around but Viz ultimately chose to name Cob, Dragonborn Cob. After BlueLegionary died, the second-in-command, SmarterCob had taken that role. After ViziroinTV's death, Cob had proclaimed himself King of the Server until told otherwise. However, he has taken it down since as he does not feel he deserved it.

The Age of War and BlueLegionary's Death

It was a decent but intricate plan. Smartercob planned to be friendly towards KenoTM while trying to "settle" issues between him and BlueLegionary. Secretly, and expectedly, however, BlueLegionary and Smartercob planned to assasinate KenoTM. After learning Keno would be bringing crystals, Blue and Cob made a portal trap. Cob would go through the portal first and Keno would follow. Obviously, that plan did not work. Keno enderpearled into the portal and began attacking both Blue and Cob. The fight resulted in the death of BlueLegionary and a new era to the server... The Age of War.

The Death of the Dragonborn

After completing most of the advancements, only missing just under 7, he wanted to fully upgrade his mace fully. He had Wind Burst II but as power sucked him in, he needed more. He went to a new trial chamber, without restocking his totems. As he landed in the trial chamber, multiple of the trial spawners lit up with blue flames. After his totem popped, he realized that 4/5 of the spawners were just baby zombies and 1/5 of the spawners were Boggeds. With it being a level 4 trial chamber, a lot of the mobs wore diamond armor and weapons. Most enchanted. As he stood on the upper most floor, using his crossbow to shoot at the entities, he went passed the bogged trial spawner, noticing its orange glow. He ran up to it to turn it blue, resetting and reactivating it. As more bogged spawned there, one hit him down into the pool of 10 baby zombies with iron and diamond enchanted weapons and armor. He was dead before he even got a chance to fly away. His curse had consumed him.

He woke up. Found himself in a familiar world. Walked around until he found a village where he stayed. He planned to rule this village and protect it. He named it Primland. The world he was in? He named it the Dreamlands. He hoped to see his friends, Complex, Viz, and Blue there too, but they are in their own worlds. All alone. Just like him. He finally knew what came after death.

Aftermath

Smartercobs Last Will: "And to think I had the egg all this time. I hid it in a Mangrove with a weirdly placed tree. :)"

The last message sent chaos throughout the server. Many people didn't believe him, his teammates 50/50. He sent another message shortly after his death:

"Red Marks the Spot.

You can choose not to believe me, or to believe me. Some hints might even be a red herring. The Pale Oak, buried high within the red Mangrove Swamp. Near a warm ocean with a beautiful colorful coral reef deep within the center of the ocean. You'll find a book, written by someone else. It will speak to you the next dark hint. Like I said, you can choose to believe me, or don't. I don't care. But if you do, and you do find it, don't trust anyone.

Nobody really knows what to think about it. Most people don't believe it, his teammates, feeling betrayed since he didn't tell them. He claimed he found it before he even went across Complex's base. This remains another mystery. Until someone finds it. Goodluck, my friends. Remember my words.
