== History ==
Snarlings joined the server on the 19th of May. Shortly after joining, they asked 'who wanna 1v1 in chat'. After just 15 minutes of playtime, they were approached by [[SherbetStar33]] with the offer of participating in the first iteration of the Beach Games- to which Snarlings accepted. The competition would require two new players to fight to the death in front of spectators, with the winner receiving armour, totems, an elytra- among other prizes.

While waiting for [[keaterzMC]] to come and collect them and bring them to [[Spawn Town]] for the fight, Snarling's opponent- [[EYMENTO08]]- announced their intention to participate in the competition. Despite being told to find shelter and wait to be picked up, EYMENTO08 fell to their death while exploring. After some time, [[yasinyener]] come forward as a substitute.

Despite trash talking yasinyener ahead of the competition, Snarlings wished yasinyener good luck during the fight while the pair lined up for a photograph.

The first Beach Games began at 10:20 UTC, with at least 11 spectators watching. The match was also broadcast via live stream. Snarlings' use of an iron axe against yasinyener's iron sword proved to be more effective, and yasinyener was killed after just 15 seconds.

Snarlings victory was met with wide celebration, and for winning the Beach Games they were given an elytra, mace, diamond armour, a netherite chestplate and totems of undying. Several minutes after the game, [[Dibamtis]]- an alt account of yasinyener- joined and was immediately killed by Snarlings, attracting further praise.

=== Post-victory ===
Over the following 20 minutes, Snarlings socialised with players in Spawn Town and practised using their newly acquired mace. Watching other players practise mace on one another, Snarlings assumed it was okay to mace another player. In response to this, Snarlings was chased out of Spawn Town by [[SquirrelMC]], [[somecabbagekid]], [[WanderinPiglin]] and [[Cosmic_02]]. Despite apologising and seeming confused by the sudden change in attitude, they were maced multiple times and with their chestplate and helmet destroyed, they combat logged in desperation.

Snarlings was assured by SquirrelMC that they would not be killed if they logged back on and gave up the mace, and that they would face a fair trial. Trusting this, Snarlings agreed and was escorted to Spawn Town where they were promptly maced and blown up by End Crystals.

Moments after Snarling's death, their ender chest was generated and items auctioned off.
