			As well as attracting new members and visitors, Home Town soon became a target for theft and griefing. Incidents were relatively tame initially, with the theft of items and an enchantment table prompting the community to take care hiding valuables. Sometime between the 16th of March and the 18th of March 2025, Home Town became the target of a raiding party comprised of [[_6_1]] and sa6ta6ni6c. During the raid houses were burnt down, a lava cast was created and heads from the town cemetery were stolen. Despite efforts at reconstruction, the town's stability did not recover from this incident. This was further worsened during the [[Peanut War]] towards the end of March 2025, where the town suffered a second griefing incident which destroyed much of the towns infrastructure. By the end of March 2025, much of the community had died, fled or were inactive.
