Most were drawn to the server after the release of the first video by Brazilian YouTuber '''[[Dilevz|Zvelid]]'''. Upon joining, MrNiquitos spawned on a plain south of Spawn. After gathering some basic resources, he noticed a trail made of wooden blocks and decided to follow it. Eventually, the trail led him to the ruins of an old settlement (which he later discovered were the remnants of the '''City of [[Souez]])'''. Because the ruins were walled and well-lit, he spent his first days there peacefully, gathering resources in safety. He established a large wheat farm (later destroyed) and fished in the nearby river. Once he felt ready to venture farther from Spawn, equipped with food and tools, he set out with a clear goal: to find an untouched village where he could work with villagers. At that time, Spawn was a dangerous place, with notorious player killers like '''[[Stamidios]]''' roaming freely and hunting newcomers.

After several hours of travel, he finally found a plains village atop a hill. That same day, he built a villager farm, an improvised trading hall, and settled in one of the village houses. This first settlement would later become known as '''BambooTown'''. In his early days, he earned emeralds by trading sticks (crafted from bamboo, which gave the settlement its name due to the vast bamboo plantations in the area), as well as melons and pumpkins. Once he was properly equipped, he began inviting other newly arrived Brazilian players to join him.

The first Brazilian to join MrNiquitos was '''Eusantos''', who had entered the server on the same day, '''May 26'''. Together, they built an iron farm and began working on a villager carrot, potato, and wheat farm.

When real-life obligations forced MrNiquitos to log off, he left Eusantos to finish the carrot farm. Upon returning hours later, he noticed that Eusantos was offline, and the farm was still incomplete. Sensing something was wrong, he went to check the villager farm and found dropped items. In one corner of the farm, he discovered Eusantos’s head.

The exact circumstances of his death were never confirmed, but it is believed that Eusantos accidentally hit a villager while trying to place it in a boat, provoking an iron golem inside the farm. Judging by the nearby cobblestone blocks, as if he had tried to build upward to escape, it seems he attempted to flee, but wasn’t fast enough.

This was the first death MrNiquitos personally witnessed, and it marked him deeply. It was a stark reminder of the harsh reality of the server: players could vanish in an instant, leaving behind only their stories and their deeds.

After Eusantos’s death, MrNiquitos welcomed several other players. Among them was '''[[LordLimma]]''', who would become one of his closest allies and leave a lasting mark on his journey. Together, they rebuilt the village and officially named it '''BambooTown''', due to its massive bamboo fields.

LordLimma contributed significantly to the settlement, constructing his signature hobbit house and designing the central plaza. However, MrNiquitos had greater ambitions. BambooTown was too close to Spawn, a vulnerable target for raiders and griefers. If they wanted to build something enduring, they needed to move farther away.

Thus, MrNiquitos and LordLimma set out eastward, searching for a more suitable location to found a new city, leaving BambooTown as a welcoming settlement for newcomers.

=== Montecruz and the Kingdom of Mellennor ===

After three real-life days of travel, they found a plains village that seemed perfect for the new base. That same day, they placed the founding stone of what would become '''[[Montecruz]]''', the capital of the [[Mellenor|Kingdom of Mellennor]].

The first structure built in the new city was '''the Cathedral of Saint Christopher''', made by LordLimma. After its construction, MrNiquitos was crowned '''King of [[Mellenor|Mellennor]]''' by LordLimma.

At its peak, the city hosted dozens of Brazilian players and was, at the time, the largest settlement on the server, with around 15 players online simultaneously.

Unfortunately, on '''June 21''', during the night, unknown players invaded Montecruz. All the wooden buildings in the town center were burned, castles were blown up with TNT, all storage chests and items destroyed by fire — and two massive lavacasts were made in the village center, making reconstruction impossible.

The reason for the attack was never discovered, nor who did it. They eventually found a massive mountain, hundreds of thousands of blocks away from Spawn, where they built a great underground city named '''Erebor''', in reference to Tolkien’s Lonely Mountain.

As the group’s leader, MrNiquitos helped build farms and decorate the mountain base’s interiors. But despite the progress, there was a sense of discouragement among the players. After Montecruz’s destruction and due to internal conflicts among Erebor’s founders, many — including Valentin3832 and MasterKnight825 — never returned to the server.

===Book Collecting===

Currently, he dedicates a large portion of his time to searching for books for his personal collection. This hobby began after he found some books by [[Krab_Man]]. Until then, Montecruz had a public library of the Kingdom, but its collection consisted exclusively of works of an administrative and historical nature, with no productions by other players.

His first contact with books written by third parties occurred when he discovered the book ''“What is death?”'', by Krab_Man, which had been found by [[LelecoHacked]] during explorations in The End. This moment was decisive: it seemed he was witnessing the possible birth of literature on the server. From that point on, a strong interest in reading and collecting literary productions emerged, motivating the formation of a collection dedicated exclusively to works written by players of the server.

===r3n2n and the search for Krab_Man’s journals===

While still a member of Porto Seguro, he was, together with Thakrs, exploring regions near the Spawn in search of trapped portals, with the aim of disarming them. During this exploration, they encountered a player who had recently joined the server and who lived on an island. Thus, they met [[r3n2n]].

On that same day, MrNiquitos and r3n2n developed a good relationship, to the point that MrNiquitos decided to stay on the island for a few days to help him, building more farms and improving its infrastructure. During his stay, MrNiquitos discovered the book ''Captain's Log'', which recorded the entire history of the island, from its first inhabitant, [[Ao_Nang]], through players who lived there after his departure, such as [[Doctor_Pancake34]], up to the arrival of r3n2n.

Already, at that time, an avid book collector, MrNiquitos was deeply fascinated by the work and told r3n2n that he wished to obtain a copy of it. Upon realizing that an interest in books was something they shared, r3n2n revealed that he also possessed another book: the first journal of Krab_Man. Excited to recognize the author as the same one who had written ''“What is death?”'', MrNiquitos read the journal and discovered that it contained the coordinates of Krab_Man’s first base, a location that r3n2n had already visited previously. Enthusiastic, both agreed to go together to this base.

Upon arriving there, they discovered that the originals of the first and second journals of Krab_Man were hidden at the site. Unfortunately, while they were investigating the base, they were alerted by the chat about the death of Thakrs, caused by TNT explosions while he was operating a wood farm under lag conditions. Deeply shaken by this loss, both left the game and did not return that day.

Later, after confirming the existence of the second journal of Krab_Man, which also contained the coordinates of his second base, they decided to visit it. At this new location, they found a copy of the third journal, which narrated Krab_Man’s first journey to The End. Knowing that he had died a few weeks earlier after falling into the void, but realizing that the journal described events from months before, they concluded that there must be at least one additional journal after that.

In this way, r3n2n ingeniously supposed that the nearest stronghold might contain traces of Krab_Man’s passage. During the journey there, they found the well-known cherry signs left by him, reinforcing the hypothesis. Upon reaching the area indicated as the stronghold, they found more of his signs and a tunnel leading to it. After exploring several of its rooms for some time, they eventually, by chance, found a semi-hidden room accessed through a cave. In it, there was a chest containing a copy of ''Shell OfA Dream''. Unfortunately, the fourth journal was not found there.

Later, they discovered that [[ShyAlly]] had found Krab_Man’s head and was in possession of the fourth journal. After a brief negotiation, they managed to obtain it. In the fourth journal, Krab_Man reported that he had left his previous base to build an even larger and more distant one, intended for large projects, but it did not contain information about its exact location.

Driven by curiosity to find this new base, and knowing Krab_Man’s construction and movement patterns, they began to formulate hypotheses based on his writings. Considering his desire to move as far away from the Spawn as possible, as well as the coordinate patterns used in his previous bases, they concluded that he had most likely gone east. In addition, all of his known bases were located in plains biomes, and since he mentioned the intention to build large open-air projects, it was very likely that he had once again chosen this type of biome. Following the pattern of his previous bases, they also assumed the presence of a nearby village, which would help with farm development. As there were no records of Nether roof portals, they further concluded that Krab_Man had likely traveled by flying through the overworld.

Armed with this information, they followed the estimated direction. To their surprise, their hypotheses were partially confirmed: they found new signs left by Krab_Man, areas lit with torches, and regions with cut trees, even thousands of blocks away from his previous base. However, after hours of searching over several days, their rockets ran out, making it impossible to continue the exploration. Thus, they were unable to locate the final base, although they were convinced that they were on the right path and that his fifth journal would be found there.

The searches were never resumed, as a few days later r3n2n died in an incident involving invisible wolves at the Spawn, during what became known as ''[[The Longest Day]]''.

== History ==
LC News was founded by [[Yeetmaker_]] in late August 2025, alongside co-reporter [[Not_A_Griefer]]. The organisation's first issue was published on the 22nd of August 2025, and proved popular among the community. Reports were sold at several huts around the [[Spawn Region]] for two diamonds, and a delivery service to locations within 10,000 blocks of Spawn was also established.

Newspapers produced by LC News became the most widely read and well-known on the server, establishing themselves as the leading works in the newspaper category among [[server books]].

----On August 21, 2025, via Discord, Yeetmaker_ made a statement regarding the launch of the LC News newspaper. The following is a transcript of the speech:

Porto Seguro was founded by the trio [[Thakrs]], [[VeyK]], and [[LewanBr]] on August 4, 2025. The city was created with the purpose of serving as a meeting point and a place of assistance for new players, especially [[Brazilian community|Brazilians]], although it welcomed players of various other nationalities.

Its founders joined the server after a video published by the Brazilian YouTuber [[Dilevz|Zvelid]], which also attracted many other players. Some of the founders and early residents, such as Thakrs, had previously been active members in the construction of [[New Bridgetown]], a city created with the goal of welcoming new players. Following the griefing of New Bridgetown and the rise of several player killers in the area, these members decided to abandon the settlement. They then came together and founded a new city, located slightly farther from Spawn, while maintaining the same purpose of welcoming and assisting new players, especially those arriving through Zvelid’s videos.

Historically, only the aforementioned trio, Thakrs, VeyK, and LewanBr , are regarded as the founders. Even so, since other players arrived during the initial stages of the city’s foundation and contributed significantly to its construction, some came to be recognized as co-founders. As the city was planned as a support hub for beginners, its founders initially chose not to open it to the public immediately. They preferred to wait until the first farms were completed before accepting new residents. However, due to construction delays, the city was ultimately opened on Monday, August 4, 2025, with an inauguration ceremony held via Discord.

The city was named Porto Seguro by Thakrs, and the name carries complementary meanings. In Portuguese, “Porto Seguro” literally translates to “Safe Port,” fitting for a settlement that functioned as a port and was built in a harbor region. At the same time, the name evokes the idea of a “safe harbor” , a place of shelter and protection. According to Thakrs, it was chosen to reflect the goal of being “a safe harbor for new players.”

The name also has historical significance. The city was initially created to welcome Brazilian players, and Porto Seguro is a well-known Brazilian tourist city, traditionally recognized as the place where the first Portuguese arrived in Brazil and therefore regarded as the symbolic birthplace of the country

== First Deaths and the Safety Joke ==
On the same day the city was opened to the public, the first death among its members occurred: LUP4_LUP4, one of the co-founders, was killed by a zombie while AFK in the city center. Later, a similar death took place: the player [[ZelterNext]] was killed by phantoms, also while AFK.

These two deaths in and around the city, involving players who had placed excessive trust in its safety, gave rise to an internal joke based on the city’s name. Since “Porto Seguro” literally means “Safe Harbor,” players began joking that the city was not as safe as its name suggested. The first recorded mention of this joke was made by [[EnaZaghetti]], who wrote “porto (quase) seguro,” a play on the name implying “(almost) safe harbor.”

As a consequence of these early deaths, following ZelterNext’s death, a rule was established in the city stating that no one could reside there without first obtaining the advancement that allows phantoms to be disabled.

Among the three founders, the first to die was LewanBr, who died from a fall while flying with an elytra, without having a totem equipped in his off-hand. His death caused great commotion among Porto Seguro’s members, especially because just minutes earlier he had been enthusiastically building farms with other players.

The second founder to die was Thakrs. His death was deeply felt by all who knew him and represented a significant blow to Porto Seguro. Thakrs was widely regarded as the city’s main pillar: the most enthusiastic about the project, the most active player, regularly staying up through the night building farms and decorations, and directly assisting dozens of players at Spawn. He died due to TNT explosions during a severe lag spike while building and operating a wood farm. His death profoundly impacted his friends and the city he had helped build.

Thus, [[Pentágono]] emerged, a base featuring large automated structures that became the new home for many former residents of Porto Seguro, such as [[VeyK]], [[Truy1]], [[salefranguito]], [[NoobDeGuerra]], [[MrNiquitos]] [[.DiplexMold2023]], and [[FelOdisseus]], among others.

At the same time, the name evokes the idea of a “safe harbor” , a place of shelter and protection. According to Thakrs, it was chosen to reflect the goal of being “a safe harbor for new players.”

== First Deaths and the Safety Joke ==
On the same day the city was opened to the public, the first death among its members occurred: LUP4_LUP4, one of the co-founders, was killed by a zombie while AFK in the city center. Later, a similar death took place: the player [[ZelterNext]] was killed by phantoms, also while AFK.

These two deaths in and around the city, involving players who had placed excessive trust in its safety, gave rise to an internal joke based on the city’s name. Since “Porto Seguro” literally means “Safe Harbor,” players began joking that the city was not as safe as its name suggested. Shortly thereafter, he traveled northeast and established a starter base. On April 18th, 2025, after being betrayed and robbed by [[SillySelene]], this base was abandoned. Later that same day, Moctezuma0 set out toward the world border in order to re-gear and formally establish himself on the server.

Mellenor, also known as the Kingdom of Mellennor, is a large [[Brazilian community|Brazilian]] clan ruled by [[MrNiquitos]] that, throughout its history, encompassed the cities of: [[BambooTown]], [[Montecruz]], [[Erebor]], and [[Saint Louis]].

== The Origin - BambooTown ==
The beginning of the Kingdom of Mellenor took place with the emergence of BambooTown. This settlement arose in an unpretentious manner as MrNiquitos’s first base on May 23, 2025. The location chosen for its creation was a plains village surrounded by ocean. At the time, it had not yet been named “BambooTown,” being merely an ordinary base.

With the establishment of initial farms and a villager trade hall, MrNiquitos began inviting new players to join him. Thus, the first players invited were [[Eusantos]], who helped him build a carrot, wheat, and potato farm using villagers, and [[yChorei]]. Unfortunately, shortly after joining the settlement, Eusantos died in an incident involving an Iron Golem at the villager farm.

---- This base was already a well-known settlement point for Brazilian players when [[LordLimma]] officially joined it on May 30, 2025. However, it was only with his arrival that the locality was named BambooTown, due to the immense bamboo plantations present there. It was also at his encouragement that the decision was made to found a Kingdom, of which MrNiquitos would become King. Initially, the Kingdom would be called Erebor, by LordLimma’s choice, but it was later renamed Mellenor for unknown reasons. Thus, the Kingdom was officially founded on May 31, 2025.

At the time of the Kingdom’s founding, its members - MrNiquitos, LordLimma, yChorei, [[MrLick]], [[homemgordo]], and [[biTTTTTT]] - resided in BambooTown, though they were already preparing to move. The desire to relocate was based on two main reasons:

The close proximity to spawn (between 7,000 and 10,000 blocks), which was a dangerous area at the time, with the presence of hunters of new players, such as Stamidios;

Also on May 31, MrLick discovered, while exploring the surroundings, a base belonging to other unknown players less than 1,000 blocks from BambooTown, which posed a possible threat to its residents, all of whom were beginner players.

Thus, on the very same day that the Kingdom of Mellenor was officially founded, BambooTown was abandoned so that its members could search for a new location to establish the definitive capital of the Kingdom. Heading east, without the use of elytras or Nether roof portals, after three real-life days of travel, LordLimma and MrNiquitos found a location that seemed ideal for the settlement of the new city.

== Montecruz ==

On June 3, 2025, the foundation stone was laid that gave rise to the city of Montecruz, at the site where its cathedral would later be erected.

Near the chosen location for the village there was a tall hill, on whose summit LordLimma built a cross. For this reason, the city was named Montecruz (mount + cross) by MrNiquitos.

Due to the decision to adopt a medieval theme for the Kingdom, the first building constructed was a Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Christopher - the patron saint of travelers - in reference to the three-day journey that had led them there.

Between June 5 and June 7, 2025, the houses of the capital were built alongside the cathedral to shelter new players who might join the Kingdom. However, on June 8, a storm struck the city. A lightning bolt set fire to several buildings, destroying much of the city center, as a large portion of the city was made of wood. Everything was later properly rebuilt, and lightning rod systems were implemented.

=== New Members - Brazilian Pirates and Guerreiros do Fim ===
With the dissolution of the [[Brazilian Pirates]], following the death of their leaders, the surviving members came to Montecruz. At that time, arriving from the Brazilian Pirates were [[LelecoHacked]], [[FaelGarcia]], [[GabsTuxo]], and [[Ihmliz]].

At the same time, there was another Brazilian group called [[Guerreiros do Fim]], led by a player named [[Darling_nikki]]. Upon learning of this group’s existence, MrNiquitos, as King and representative of Mellenor, promptly offered to visit their base to deliver resources and establish a diplomatic relationship. Days after this visit, they sent their diplomat, [[Umgoianoqualquer]], along with his bodyguard [[Valentin3832]], to establish a definitive partnership between the two groups.

Unfortunately, Darling_nikki never logged into the server again. With many players suddenly left without leadership, internal disputes arose, and two of their members, among them [[RF_Gamer]], betrayed the others, stealing all the base’s resources and disappearing.

After this betrayal, without leadership, without resources, and disorganized, the clan collapsed. Many of its members began playing solo.

As Mellenor had an alliance with this group, Umgoianoqualquer and Valentin3832 came to Montecruz as refugees. Shortly thereafter, other former members of the Guerreiros do Fim also joined them and began residing in Montecruz: [[PedroHD_,]] [[MasterKnight825]], [[GamingDemon_YT]], and [[ANDREZINHOLINDO]].

Alongside the continuous arrival of other newly joined players on the server, this period marked the peak of Montecruz, which reached as many as 15 members online simultaneously. The Kingdom of Mellenor also maintained an alliance with an overseas base belonging to a player named [[SafeProject]], who provided various resources - from potions to fully enchanted items - for new members.

It was never discovered who was responsible for the attack, nor what their motivation was. Internally, the members of Mellenor believed that someone from within the Kingdom had leaked the coordinates, as the invaders also destroyed the mob trap located farther from the city center. After Montecruz was destroyed, its former residents were left without direction. There was no possibility of rebuilding it, as the city had been completely rendered unusable by the lava casts. It was then considered to build elsewhere, but due to suspicions that someone within the Kingdom had leaked the coordinates, it was unclear whom to trust.

Thus, only the most trusted members were gathered in an attempt to rebuild the Kingdom in a much more distant location. As the coordinates could no longer be trusted to everyone, some former residents of Montecruz abandoned the server, while others started new bases on their own elsewhere. For this new base, only MrNiquitos, LordLimma, fefepotato, Valentin3832, and MasterKnight825 were selected.

During this period, LordLimma and Valentin3832 were tasked with the mission of finding a distant location to build the new capital, now called Erebor, as it was built inside a mountain, in reference to Tolkien and in accordance with LordLimma’s long-standing desire, since he had considered that name from the Kingdom’s very founding. After finding the ideal location, also situated in a plains village near a mountain, the most trusted former residents of Montecruz departed there to build the new city.

Construction began on June 27, with the entire façade, mountain excavation, and creation of farms carried out in the following weeks. With the establishment of initial farms and a villager trade hall, MrNiquitos began inviting new players to join him. Between June 5 and June 7, 2025, the houses of the capital were built alongside the cathedral to shelter new players who might join the Kingdom. However, on June 8, a storm struck the city. A lightning bolt set fire to several buildings, destroying much of the city center, as a large portion of the city was made of wood. Everything was later properly rebuilt, and lightning rod systems were implemented.

Between June 5 and June 7, 2025, the houses of the capital were built alongside the cathedral to shelter new players who might join the Kingdom. However, on June 8, a storm struck the city. A lightning bolt set fire to several buildings, destroying much of the city center, as a large portion of the city was made of wood. Everything was later properly rebuilt, and lightning rod systems were implemented.

=== New Members - Brazilian Pirates and Guerreiros do Fim ===
With the dissolution of the [[Brazilian Pirates]], following the death of their leaders, the surviving members came to Montecruz. At that time, arriving from the Brazilian Pirates were [[LelecoHacked]], [[FaelGarcia]], [[GabsTuxo]], and [[Ihmliz]].

At the same time, there was another Brazilian group called [[Guerreiros do Fim]], led by a player named [[Darling_nikki]]. Upon learning of this group’s existence, MrNiquitos, as King and representative of Mellenor, promptly offered to visit their base to deliver resources and establish a diplomatic relationship. Days after this visit, they sent their diplomat, [[Umgoianoqualquer]], along with his bodyguard [[Valentin3832]], to establish a definitive partnership between the two groups.

Unfortunately, Darling_nikki never logged into the server again. With many players suddenly left without leadership, internal disputes arose, and two of their members, among them [[RF_Gamer]], betrayed the others, stealing all the base’s resources and disappearing.

After this betrayal, without leadership, without resources, and disorganized, the clan collapsed. Many of its members began playing solo.

As Mellenor had an alliance with this group, Umgoianoqualquer and Valentin3832 came to Montecruz as refugees. Shortly thereafter, other former members of the Guerreiros do Fim also joined them and began residing in Montecruz: [[PedroHD_,]] [[MasterKnight825]], [[GamingDemon_YT]], and [[ANDREZINHOLINDO]].

Alongside the continuous arrival of other newly joined players on the server, this period marked the peak of Montecruz, which reached as many as 15 members online simultaneously. The Kingdom of Mellenor also maintained an alliance with an overseas base belonging to a player named [[SafeProject]], who provided various resources - from potions to fully enchanted items - for new members.

=== The Saddest Moment of Montecruz ===

On June 17, a player (whose name will not be mentioned, so that it may be forgotten forever) entered the server. He appeared very trustworthy in chat. For this reason, MrNiquitos met him at spawn, on behalf of the Kingdom, to provide him with resources. After conversing for a long time, and because he seemed trustworthy, he was invited, not without some reluctance, to join the Kingdom of Mellenor.

On that same day, he built a small house and, inside it, set up a piston trap.

The first victim was a very peaceful player who lived in Montecruz, named [[Junior_Saraiva]]. The murderer invited him to visit the house, and when Junior_Saraiva entered, he fell into the trap and died.

A few hours later, one of the most beloved players of the Kingdom, Umgoianoqualquer, also became a victim. Initially, the traitor had asked FaelGarcia for help building the house, but since FaelGarcia was busy constructing a castle, he did not go. Goiano, however, was always willing to help others. When he saw the player asking for help in chat, he went there - and also fell into the trap.

After this, LelecoHacked killed the traitor using crystals.

[[The murder of Umgoianoqualquer]] was one of the saddest events in the Kingdom’s history. He was one of the most beloved and kind members of Montecruz and, just a few hours earlier, had even donated resources and totems to that very player.

After this event, due to the fact that the murderer had been invited by MrNiquitos, criticisms of his management arose and internal disagreements emerged, such as FaelGarcia accusing MrNiquitos of inviting players who were too new to join the Kingdom. This culminated in the creation of a new rule: only players with more than 24 hours of gameplay could be invited. This rule was later broken on only one occasion, when [[NoobDeGuerra]] - who had just joined the server and was a resident of New Bridgetown - was invited to join Erebor with less playtime than stipulated.

== The Fall of Montecruz ==

On the night of June 21, around 3:00 a.m., unknown players invaded Montecruz. They burned all wooden buildings in the historic center, used TNT to explode every possible structure, stole all the beacons, created two large lava casts, and rendered the city completely unusable. They destroyed everything that could be destroyed.

Every chest in the warehouse was destroyed and its items burned, all farms and plantations were wiped out. One emblematic scene of the aftermath was seeing players in Montecruz, such as FaelGarcia, forced to eat rotten flesh, as all farms, resources, and supplies had been lost. Furthermore, due to the complete destruction of lighting, monsters began spawning in the surrounding areas, an occasion during which it is presumed that [[jorginbigorna]] later was slain by Zombie Villager.

It was never discovered who was responsible for the attack, nor what their motivation was. Internally, the members of Mellenor believed that someone from within the Kingdom had leaked the coordinates, as the invaders also destroyed the mob trap located farther from the city center. No one ever officially claimed responsibility, although part of the blame was attributed to [[nightmere_15]], who stated that he knew the location of the base. The only clue left behind were two signs placed in different locations bearing the enigmatic message “us revenge.” The reason for the supposed revenge was never clarified, as Mellenor had always been a peaceful Kingdom.<gallery mode="packed-overlay" heights="200px">

== Erebor ==

After Montecruz was destroyed, its former residents were left without direction. There was no possibility of rebuilding it, as the city had been completely rendered unusable by the lava casts. It was then considered to build elsewhere, but due to suspicions that someone within the Kingdom had leaked the coordinates, it was unclear whom to trust.

Thus, only the most trusted members were gathered in an attempt to rebuild the Kingdom in a much more distant location. As the coordinates could no longer be trusted to everyone, some former residents of Montecruz abandoned the server, while others started new bases on their own elsewhere. For this new base, only MrNiquitos, LordLimma, fefepotato, Valentin3832, and MasterKnight825 were selected.

During this period, LordLimma and Valentin3832 were tasked with the mission of finding a distant location to build the new capital, now called Erebor, as it was built inside a mountain, in reference to Tolkien and in accordance with LordLimma’s long-standing desire, since he had considered that name from the Kingdom’s very founding. After finding the ideal location, also situated in a plains village near a mountain, the most trusted former residents of Montecruz departed there to build the new city.

Construction began on June 27, with the entire façade, mountain excavation, and creation of farms carried out in the following weeks. However, due to internal conflicts and poor management by MrNiquitos, who remained offline for many weeks, many of the few remaining members became discouraged and stopped playing.

Even so, after MrNiquitos returned a long time later, Erebor began to rise again, with new players being invited, such as NoobDeGuerra and [[DaviiDL1337]], and new constructions being made.

== Saint Louis ==

After the period of conflicts in Erebor, in mid-August 2025, LordLimma decided to partially abandon the project of building the city inside the mountain and began working on a new project: the construction of a French-style city located on an island, which he named Saint Louis, in homage to Saint Louis IX. In this city, he built a reduced-scale replica of the cathedral that had existed in Montecruz and a copper Eiffel Tower.

The Kingdom did not become completely inactive. However, with the absence of LordLimma and other members, and with MrNiquitos’s involvement in other projects - such as the construction of the cities of [[Porto Seguro]] and [[Pentágono]] - Mellenor is in a state of latency, with some of its members still active but working on other projects.

On the August of 18th through the 19th, many extremely notable players either died or were killed. This day is also known by the name: [[The Longest Day]].

* [[Emodita]] - The first deaths to start off the bunch. Emodita was blown up by a creeper. Although not missed very much, as he was thefenix303's teammate (a known fugitive), he started off the chain of deaths. 18th of August.
* [[SquirrelMC]] - At around 1 AM EST in the morning, SquirrelMC was blowing through chunks on a riptide trident. For a moment his client desynced, which was enough to ram him into the cliff face that ended him. 19th of August.
* [[AbeLink64]] - An incredible redstone engineer, builder of the cauldron obsidian farm. Went out like a mad scientist when he was killed in his own TnT duper. 19th of August.

* [[r3n2n]] - What was a harmless prank turned into tragedy when R2n3n splashed an invisibility potion on Misslea, Pannekoek, and himself. Unknowingly, he splashed some of Misslea's dogs as well. When he playfully punched lea, her dogs went after him. For the joke, he was wearing no armor and totemless, and he was mauled. 19th of August.

* [[Moctezuma0]] - Moctezuma was unfortunately slain by a piglin brute. This player was famous for the writing of the Halloween Accords, banning crystal use on the server. (This would be largely disregarded.) 19th of August.
* [[PoorGrammar313]] - The hardest hitting death beside SquirrelMC's death. PoorGrammar was challenged to a 1v1 duel by Flagman45. PoorGrammar accepted, and they dueled with crystals in the End. It is known that PoorGrammar was able to pop most of Flagman's totems before receiving a death blow, owing to the fact that he didn't totem swap fast enough. 19th of August.

This day will remain infamous throughout hardcore history, as the hardest day for many factions across the entire playerbase. The Order, the Brazilians of the server, and the general playerbase took a very heavy hit.

AdamAlmajd, often just going by Almajd, was someone who dearly wished to find a hardcore server to play on. He searched high and low, untill he finally found LegendaryHC, the only true Hardcore server with a vanilla feel.

Almajd, not knowing what to expect, joined the server only to find himself in a big, frozen river in the middle of the night. Survival was hard, no trees were around to provide any tools, and the only food around was raw fish. After a minecraft day, while fishing underwater, Almajd was stuck below the ice as his game lagged. He was down to 4 hearts and no food. In a cry of despair, Almajd leaked his coordinates in chat, asking for help.

Soon, out of the sky, came [[Hudson]], bringing diamond armour, tools, one totem and 3 golden carrots. These carrots were al Almajd needed to keep moving.

Escaping spawn was hard, as food was scarse, and killers, such as [[Docid]], were after them, but teaming up with [[.Aku]], Almajd managed to get away from spawn. At around 5000 -1000, Almajd and .Aku made their first starter base, soon to be joined by [[SHOOBY19_FLASH]].

Shooby and Almajd worked closely together, making the essentials, diamonds, food, enchanting table etc. One day, someone attacked Almajd. The atacker combat logged and seemingly didnt log back it ever after, to Almajds big disappointment, as he had made a trap where the killer logged off.

.Aku was not sharing resources, and had no voice chat, so Almajd and Shooby decided to leave him. A player by the name of [[Doggo]] contacted Almajd and told him about [[Hudson Camp]], a place for newbies, with villagers and all you need. Almajd was thrilled to hear the news. Doggo opened a nether roof portal for him and Almajd finally moved out, with Shooby soon following.

The first few days at Hudson Camp were grinding. During his time there, Almajd became really close with a guy who also lived there, called JustLawyer. Together, they grinded day in and day out, untill they both had the best gear in the game. They also started trading, met [[Pannekoek]], who traded him two wings for him and [[JustLawyer28965|JustLawyer]], as well as a silence trim. Almajd stayed there a long time until he had shulkers full of items in his e-chest.

After getting a pair of wings, Almajd and Lawyer had a ton of fun experiences, summoned a warden by accident, and explored the world around Hudson camp. But eventually, they knew they would have to leave the area behind and go live somewhere way further away.

All Almajd needed now, was a mace, to finaly be one of the big players. Almajd had plans of moving close to spawn, setting up farms and dedicating his time to helping new people, just like Hudson had helped him in the beginning.

He went with Doggo to find a pillager outpost, so they could get bad omen and totems before going to spawn, as Almajd only had one and Doggo didn't have any. On the way, Almajd found a trial chamber, and did his worst mistake yet. He told Doggo about it, thinking Doggo had good armour. While fighting, the slimes overwhelmed Doggo who passed away. Almajd didn't realise that at first, and was shocked by seeing a baby zombie in full enchanted diamond armour and axe running towards him. When he found out, Almajd didn't feel like playing anymore and logged off for the day. Though his mission had succeeded at a high cost, as he had his dead friends mace and a spare elytra.

He decided to stay at Hudson camp for a little longer. During this time, Almajd helped multiple newbies find their way to the camp, and gave them armour and food, keeping the camps legacy alive. He also played as though he was a killer, dm'ed multiple spawn killers offering to help them and telling them he was a runaway himself, then leaked their coordinates in chat, effectively getting rid of any noob slayers and griefers.

Some players in particular did not like Almajds spike in chat activity, especially [[salefranguito]], which quite frankly is odd, as he himself had tenth of kills on griefers and killers. As sale had made a big name for himself, people took his side, and Almajd became less and less liked after that point. He decided to stop helping and take a break from chat entirely.

The next day, after these chat messages were exchanged between Almajd and sale, right before deciding to get off chat, Almajd logs in to discover something horrifying.

Almajd had logged in to provide help to a new player, [[_Phantomize]]. To his horror, he found that the base had been griefed, Doggos grave had been teared open, and all the villagers were killed. Almajd was sure this was sales work, and decided it wasnt worth helping anyone. He was furious. He decided to leave the base and go live with his friend, Shooby (who had ran away, since he killed someone in self defence but no one believed him), 300k blocks away from spawn.

Before leaving, he decided to trade his armour trims and templates to make some netherite. His elytra was at half durability, but he couldnt repair it as the griefers had destroyed the xp farm. Almajd headed to spawn to do the trade, one final visit before leaving.

At spawn, something seemed off. A player hat goes by [[aSweatyPotato]] warned Almajd that there was an elytra mace killer at spawn. The elytra macer hit Almajd, and he decided he would help, maybe that would clear his name? Maybe if he killed the murderer people would stop hating him?

Almajd took to the skies, his elytra begging for mercy. 6 players flying at spawn, swarming around each other like flies. Suddenly, one player leaves the group and rockets away as fast as he can. Almajd decides that this must be the killer. He follows him, his heart racing, takes out Doggos mace, and swings... it was salefranguito.

Almajd disengages, tries to deescalate, but sale doesn't budge, persistent to kill Almajd. While flying away, the elytra, who had been holding on for dear life, breaks. Almajd falls to the ground, popping his only totem. 1 second later, sale is on top, one hit, and Almajd is banned off the server.

Usually, when someone dies, people pay their respects. When sale murdered Almajd, chat was filled with cheers. Almajd posted evidence, yet no one apologised, and no one turned on sale. Sale did later apologise, and when Almajd asked him to fulfill his last wish he complied.

At Hudson Camp, on the far right side, sale made a big, obsidian grave for Almajd. Right in front of Doggos grave. Behind the grave, in the middle of the cross, is a shulker, with Almajds head, containing his e-chest, and helmet. Sale claims he got nothing else from Almajds dead body.

When Almajd died, SHOOBY stopped playing the server. But, JustLawyer promised Almajd to get his haed back, which he did, Now, Almajds head is on a throne at Lawyers new base, wearing a replica of Almajds old armour, carrying the history of the one who one day beared it.

=== Basic Principles ===
An ender pearl will only teleport the player that threw it once it comes in to contact with a solid block. Stasis chambers take advantage of this mechanic and by preventing contact with a solid block an ender pearl can be kept in stasis indefinitely. Most forms of stasis chamber use a soul sand bubble column to keep an ender pearl suspended in water, though honey and slime blocks can also be used.

Stasis chambers also benefit from two additional characteristics of ender pearls. Thrown ender pearls persist across sessions, and so an ender pearl will not be lost if a player disconnects from the server. Additionally, ender pearls are chunk loaders and allow redstone circuitry and certain other mechanics to continue functioning even when no player is nearby.

===== Frost Walker =====
Until December 2025, frost walker designs were the most common type of stasis chamber. They used armour stands with frost walker boots close to a water source to detect logins. When the player joined the server, the frost walker boots would freeze the nearby water, which would be detected by an observer. To prevent the stasis from activating every time a login was detected, a piston was often used to immediately break the ice- allowing for multiple, successive logins to be detected.

Most frost walker designs used two logins within a set duration as the trigger for activation. Initially hopper clocks were used, but due to a server change that made hopper clocks inconsistent, repeater based clock designs were popularised from September 2025.

===== Pet Obby =====
With the switch to Folia in December 2025, frost walker stasis chambers were no longer able to function. Pet obby was introduced as a vanilla-like alternative to frost walker and serves as the basis for all current remote activation stasis chamber designs.

Pet obby stasis chambers are unique to [[Main Page|Legendary Hardcore]] and work by the player looking at an obsidian block and executing the command '''/petobby'''. Once an obsidian block has been 'tamed' it will turn in to crying obsidian when the player is offline (returning to obsidian when the player returns). An observer next to a pet obby can detect these block changes, allowing for logins to be converted to redstone pulses.

Then, build it exactly as shown in the image. Remember to keep the Copper Bulb turned off, and also remember to set the Redstone Repeater to level 4;. Note that the Hoppers must be facing each other, in pairs.

After assembling the entire structure, look directly at the Obsidian on the ground (important: it must be the Obsidian placed on the ground, not the one in your inventory) and type the command <code>/petobby</code> in the chat. A response message will appear in the chat after this, confirming that the command was executed.

It is also important to know how to build the stasis chamber itself, which consists of a hole 11 blocks deep, where, on the eleventh block, a Soul Sand will be placed. The other 10 blocks will be filled with water to activate the upward bubble column (an easy way to do this is by using Kelp with Bone Meal). After that, aim at the Soul Sand at the bottom and throw your Enderpearl, which will remain floating.

With the image setup, using 25/1 items in the counter, to activate the stasis chamber you just need to log out and log back in again within a period of less than 10 seconds.

== History ==
The first manual activation stasis chambers appeared in early March 2025 and relied on cooperation with a second player to interact with the ender pearl.

On the 11th of April 2025, [[Kosmiau]] revealed a design for a remote activation stasis called the Multiple Location Teleportation Device (MLTD). On the same day, Kosmiau used four stasis chambers to travel around the four world border corners in under 45 seconds. This design appears not to have used timed logins per stasis chamber, but a system of indexing so that each successive login moved the player to the next corner.

Stasis chambers became increasingly common in April and May 2025 and enabled players to easily travel to and from the Spawn Region without extensive travel. By June 2025, [[monkebillions]] had pioneered a simplified frost walker stasis design and shared a tutorial[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNCVCOAewV0 <nowiki>[1]</nowiki>] on how to build it, making it the most popular frost walker stasis design at the time.

In September 2025 a server change to the behaviour of hoppers broke many existing stasis chambers. Several alternative designs were proposed and a repeater based alternative created by [[Spalmipede]] proved popular.

The invitation was accepted, but the journey to the base was long and difficult, as the new member did not have an Elytra and the location was extremely far. When he finally arrived, Diplex welcomed him with a special gift: a netherite ingot. Afterwards, he showed him the entire structure of the base, guiding him through every corner of the place. After talking for a while, they said their goodbyes. The next day, Diplex and [[FelOdisseus]] received an unexpected invitation from [[Veyk]] and [[Salefranguito|Salefranguit]]<nowiki/>o to join the [[Pentágono]]. Without hesitation, they accepted the offer, marking the beginning of a new phase in their journey.

In [[Pentágono]], [[FelOdisseus]] decided to build a huge castle, and Diplex promptly offered to help, gathering the necessary materials for the construction. To do this, he built an efficient stone farm, which proved essential and greatly facilitated the progress of the work. After that, Diplex decided to transform [[Pentágono]] into a more organized and pleasant place. Since the area was disorganized and lifeless, he built two houses and two large warehouses, making everything more beautiful and functional. The result left him extremely satisfied.

=== Diplex Assassination and Revive ====

Some time later, a beginner friend asked for his help with totems and food. His name was [[.Tenna|Tenna]]. Diplex then went to the spawn to help him, also taking advantage of the rare opportunity to socialize with other players on the server. Unfortunately, while at the spawn, he was brutally attacked by [[KaronteRey]], who was using crystals. With no time to react, Diplex ended up being killed. However, after an investigation was conducted by the server administrators, it was discovered that [[KaronteRey]] — who had changed his name to [[FreeTrialExpired]] — was using cheats. As a consequence, he was permanently banned. Thanks to this, Diplex got a second chance: he was revived. He and his friends were immensely happy with this second opportunity, and he quickly returned to [[Pentágono]] to continue his journey.

After some time, he decided to help his old friend [[Takiwuz]] reach [[Pentágono]]. For that, he went to the base's totem farm. However, the farm was extremely dangerous, and numerous vexes appeared at the same time, taking his life within seconds. Diplex even tried to exit the game to ask [[FelOdisseus]] for help, but unfortunately, it was already too late. DiplexMold2023 died on January 30th, at 11:46 AM, definitively ending his journey. [[FelOdisseus]] recovered his head and will place it in a memorial in his castle, which Diplex helped build. And thus ended the story of the King of Bedrock in Legendary Hardcore!

Bedrock Curse

The bedrock edition of Minecraft has long been known to contain a considerable amount of bugs and glitches which can prove deadly on hardcore difficulty. Furthermore, console controllers are often seen as more limiting than their PC counterparts. The supposed young age of bedrock players is also a common explanation used to justify their usually short life spans but this has yet to be proven by any concrete research.

Over time has emerged the notion stating that bedrock players have a shorter life expectancy compared to java players, with the large majority dying before their first hour on the server, in some cases, in only a few seconds or minutes.

At the time this text was written, only one notable exception existed, with the Bedrock player [[.DiplexMold2023]] still alive and having a playtime of over 150 hours. However, unfortunately, this player later died in an incident involving Evokers at a totem farm, with 197 hours of playtime at the time.

Another notable example was the player [[.G_A_D_Oytb]], who was the first Bedrock player to obtain a full set of Netherite gear (including a Netherite hoe), all mined and crafted entirely by himself. He also held the record for the longest survival time among Bedrock players, with 130 hours, until it was later surpassed by .DiplexMold2023. Unfortunately, .G_A_D_Oytb died due to a bug in which his Totem of Undying failed to activate during an elytra fall.

==== The Early Days ====
Spalmipede had been searching for a server that had no cheats, no land claims, no /home or /tp where griefing and pvp were allowed. The small world border at the time was a nice benefit, and they were strongly against any increases to the world border being increased in the future. Spalmipede was not a fan of the Hardcore ruleset, but everything else checked the boxes for him to check it out.

Spalmipede joined the server on 5/12/25, spawning in the large snowy biome that is the spawn region. After moving out several thousand blocks, Spalmipede jumped through a portal and started to travel by nether roof. Eventually he came out on the other side and made a dirt hut. Living in a hovel, Spalmipede geared himself up until he was confident enough to make his way back to spawn. Jumping through the well known End Portal, Spalmipede used the resources available on the main end island to walk and pearl his way out ten thousand blocks or so before he found an End City, gaining an Elytra before leaving the end.

==== An Early Tragedy ====
At about 2 days, 15 hours, and 49 minutes of playtime, Spalmipede was finishing up his ominous bottle farm on the 20th of May, 2025. He jumped from the glass AFK platform above the pillager outpost and tried to engage his elytra. However, on his side, all he saw was the game freeze for several seconds before being met with a death message: "Spalmipede fell from a high place". Spalmipede couldn't believe it. Just his luck that he was building the ability to easily have totems to prevent such a death, and fate worked against him. Kosmiau, agreed to finish out Spalmipede's final wishes and travelled to the Ominous Bottle Farm to retrieve his head. Kosmiau returned to Spalmipede's personal base, and buried his head near his treasured bees.

==== Revival ====
May 30th, 2025. Spalmipede received a discord message from non-other than the server owner himself, jake276493. Jake informed Spalmipede that his death would be reversed. Spalmipede couldn't believe what he was hearing, he hadn't even submitted a ticket to be revived. Spalmipede never asked why he was revived, he was just grateful for the opportunity to come back. Spal returned to the server that day, and has been a consistent player ever since. There have been rumors on the server that Spalmipede was revived due to a mix of the anti-cheat and the lack of server resources causing an environment that could easily cause player deaths, and that jake, taking mercy on the players, reversed some deaths around that time.

==== A New Lease on Life ====
Spalmipede returned to his base, fulfilling his unfinished business of completing it. The base features a villager breeder, several trading halls including librarians, farmers, clerics, and every kind of smith. The base also included several farms (sugarcane, bamboo, pumpkins, melons, iron, gunpowder, slime, and xp), each one wrapped in a decorative building, leaving not a single naked farm to be seen. It was just the end of June, nearly a month from his revival when he finished.

Then the attacks at spawn had begun. Trapped portals were becoming the norm as [[LightGreyPanda]] and InternetFound were setting them up. The duo denied they had any involvement, but Spalmipede knew that if they continued to roam freely, the killings wouldn't end. Spalmipede gathered information in an attempt to find InternetFound's base. After hours of grid searching flying around the expected location, he finally found it on July 16th, 2025. Sneaking into the base, Spalmipede found all of the heads of InternetFound's victims. They were his top priority to save. Shoving them into a nearby shulker with some armor trims in it, he secreted them away, leaving the base without touching anything else.

Spal waited until the next day to reach out to InternetFound, offering him a deal. If there were no more traps or killing of random players that could be linked to InternetFound, Spal wouldn't leak any cords. In fact, Spal would even remove InternetFound from the 'wanted' list of The Order of the Sanctum. InternetFound decided to ignore the deal and instead started to pack up his base. In doing so, he notices that the trims that Spal took previously are missing. Taking advantage of the situation, Spal returns to InternetFound's base to return the trims. Placing the shulker near his packing area, Spal then rigged it with TNT Minecarts. The trap isn't expected to kill, as it is in a wide open area.

In an unfortunate stroke of bad luck for InternetFound, he pops a totem on his way back to his base. When he checks the shulker, he is vaporized alongside dozens of chests nearby, leaving a small crater.

Seeing the death ping on the discord server, Spal immediately logged back in and retrieve InternetFound's head, just seconds before LightGreyPanda showed up on the scene. Spal and LightGreyPanda did not engage each other. However, LightGreyPanda never rejoined the server after this event.

==== The Spawn Project ====

===== June 26th, 2025 =====
Feeling that Spawn was sad, and with his base completed, Spalmipede took on the challenge of sprucing Spawn up into a more favorable shape. Before he got started, spawn was sparse with a few cherry trees and some berry bushes. The plan wasn't shared with anyone else, to make it a surprise. The iconic dome was built in a single session over the course of several hours. Many players would stop by, wondering what Spal was up to. Once the project was done, Spawn has continued to be a more popular location, inspiring multiple builds to be created in the area since this original iteration (canes, pink puh, etc). Some players have even taken to living nearby. This event also was the beginning of the early days of The Order of the Sanctum for Spal.

===== July 24th, 2025 =====
Spawn is looking like it's bleak shape around this time. The dome has been griefed, and at the same time [[LelecoHacked]] had plans to give the spawn of the nether a face lift as well. Moving his inspiration back to the overworld, Spal began to build his nether hub in the overworld, providing it with the underworld look it has on the surface.

=== Present Day (Sept 2025) ===
Spal spends his time hunting for and getting rid of petty criminals from the server. Would be griefers, player killers, etc. Spal currently spends a majority of his time at OTS's primary project, Hammerfell. As one of the main architects, Spalmipede finds himself overwhelmed with the scale of the project, but it allows him to burn hours of time, putting it all into the server. As an added bonus, it makes it easier for him to keep an eye on any potential threats that might be emerging.
