The '''Pumpkin Cult''' were a pseudo-religious group that emerged out of [[Necropolis]] in August 2025. The Pumpkin Cult built thousands of pumpkin crosses across the [[Spawn Region]] towards the end of 2025, as well as a large [[Pumpkin Statue]] near [[Spawn Town]].

In mid August 2025, the settlement of Necropolis was founded by [[VenetianSnares]] and [[Tibbytubby]]. The town quickly expanded with the arrival of new members throughout August and September 2025. The Pumpkin Cult is thought to have been established at the same time as Necropolis was constructed. Membership often involved being given a Curse of Binding pumpkin, though members were not expected to actually equip the pumpkin.

By October 2025, Necropolis had been abandoned as a result of griefing and the group had dispersed to other settlements across the server. Throughout late 2025, the Pumpkin Cult became more involved in hunting [[Player killing|player killers]] and frequently collaborated on operations with factions such as the [[Order of the Sanctum]]. In October 2025, the Pumpkin Cult was a joint participant in [[Operation Overkill]], which resulted in the targeted killings of [[MRV1RUS]] and [[CountlessMC]].

In November 2025, a large Pumpkin Statue was erected close to Spawn Town. The monument stood until January 2026 when it was destroyed by [[1590283112]]. By early 2026, the Pumpkin Cult had effectively disbanded due to the deaths of various members.

===Formation===
Trifarix was founded on October 17th 2025 by [[7ark, NaG, and Sherek berg|7ark]], [[Not_A_Griefer]], and [[Sherek_berg]]. The group soon recruited further members, including [[Razorbug]], [[FartGuzzler1972]].

=== Growth ===
The nation of Trifarix grew quickly in the popular city of 7arkington. 7ark worked to build this city up, and invite many new members. Most new members who joined his city also joined Trifarix, and so the nations population grew quickly. By late October, 7arkington had around 20 residents, and the nation of Trifarix as a whole had around 30 citizens. A discord was formed for nation activities, and a guard was formed to handle and maintain threats to the nation. Eventually as the city grew further, 7ark wanted to invite even more members to the nation, however he didn't feel he could trust just anyone at the capital city of 7arkington, so he founded a new city Port Newton. This city was meant to be for newbies, funded with materials from the nation to help them grow, and to be a place that could test how trustworthy and helpful a new player might be. If a new player could be trusted, they might eventually be invited to 7arkington.

Soon, several new citizens joined Port Newton, and it was much smaller than 7arkington, but it began to thrive in its own way. There were a few incidents in town, but they were dealt with by the guard, as expected for a city for new players.

=== Disruption ===

After the [https://wiki.legendaryhc.org/index.php?title=7arkington#:~:text=next%20to%20it.-,The%20Siege%20of%207arkington,-%5Bedit%20%7C Siege of 7arkington], many of the citizens of Trifarix were displaced from their homes. They were temporarily relocated to Port Newton, however it was believed that location may also be compromised. 7ark wanted to ensure a safe place could be had for those from 7arkington to go. While 7arkington was relatively close to spawn, for this new location 7ark flew far out to find a new home that could be more secure. [[Rookgaard]] had also been attacked and abandoned.

Eventually, 7ark found a patch of land far out that he liked, and began building it, founding the city of [[New Arkington]] on 11/03/2025.

Soon he invited most trustworthy players from 7arkington to the new city, with a more secure nether portal entry system so that portals would not be found close to the city. 7ark, amongst others, began building up the city quickly. There was a sadness to leaving their home of 7arkington, but an excitement to create something new. Not long after, Port Newton was also found, as suspected, and griefed. The few residents there scattered, and the town became abandoned, and for the time being, New Arkington was the only city within the nation at this time.

=== Trouble at New Arkington ===
Rebuilding efforts took time, but the city grew nicely. It featured a very popular casino. However, some drama arose around a player named [[twivz_]]. They had been a newer player from Port Newton that 7ark had recently invited to 7arkington just before it was attacked, so he was also invited to New Arkington. He was nice enough, and generally helpful around the base. However, he had a new friend join the server named [[Dxrkxy]], and he stressed that the player was very good at pvp. This made some members of the guard of Trifarix nervous, and so after a vote, it was decided that Dxrkxy would need to live at a newbie city for a week before being allowed at New Arkington, for safety, especially given everyone was still recovering from the attack on 7arkington. There had been some efforts to make a new newbie town similar to Port Newton, but getting players out to a new spot to help build it up was difficult, so it was thought this would be a good opportunity for Dxrkxy to contribute to the nation a bit before coming to its new capital.

However, only a day or two later, twivz_ invited Dxrkxy to New Arkington anyway, and this caused a lot of tension. Twivz_ claimed there were threats against his life, but never elaborated about any of it, and many members of Trifarix (both guards both also peaceful players) were uneasy with Dxrkxy being around, both because they didn't know him, but because twivz_ kept emphasizing constantly how good at pvp they were.

Residents began getting more and more nervous as time went on, and eventually there was a small disagreement. A number of players stated they had seen Dxrkxy kill a random players parrot while talking in voice chat. The claims said they were all having a conversation when Dxrkxy said the parrot was annoying, and turned and just killed a tamed parrot. Later this got around, and 7ark told twivz_ about this, and eventually Dxrkxy tried to claim that this never happened, despite being around multiple players. They left the Trifarix discord, and then less than an hour later publicly posted the coordinates of New Arkington in the general chat of the main [[Legendary Hardcore]] discord. Shortly after, twivz_ also left the Trifarix discord, and they were declared enemies of the nation.

Residents of New Arkington, once again rushed to collect all the supplies, and to find and fly to a new home. Though with this being the second instance, more members went off to their own private bases.

=== Moving, Again ===
7ark founded another new city, this time with a simple name of [[Delta]]. It was even further out than New Arkington, and had even stricter portal rules for coming to the city. The members list was also very exclusive to only those within the nation that were trusted completely. The new city started being built, new mob grinders, basic infrastructure, but it was much slower going. Lots of work was put into the city, but convincing people to fly further out to Delta was a much taller ask, and slowly activity dropped off at Delta as players spent time elsewhere more often. Some players took a break from the server after the effort of moving cities several times.

=== Rebirth ===
After several weeks of little to no activity, 7ark returned to the server to play some more, and began some new projects. 7ark had started work rebuilding 7arkington, and started spending more time near spawn. He also started rebuilding Port Newton, and started inviting newbies back to both cities again. Additionally, he started a new much more secretive town entirely underground, named [[Arktopolis]]. An underground metropolis full of farms, and a different style of city. This started to revitalize a lot of people, and many came to join him at Arktopolis, helping to build up activity again.

- Citizens pledge to help other noobs when able.

- Citizens pledge to never murder unless justified.

He has been revived 3 times, killed first by [[Lilytism|Lilytsm]], who felt bad and hacked on the server to get all of her victims revived, and died the second time trident-elytra-ing (appealed along with other players due to a realized non-vanilla feature), and died the 3rd time due to an admin misshap ([[ThowanOP]] dropped an island on Rug while he was flying).

== Early Life ==
Rug originally joined the server after looking for an experience similar to the Unstable SMP. Starting out, his intent was to become a player killer and built traps. After acclimating to the server's friendly environment, and also having his life saved on multiple occasions, he abandoned his previous mindset and decided to not bring about the downfall of others. One of his saviors, [[Creon3827]], invited him to live at [[Slush]], and thus he had finally joined a community—only to be murdered by [[Lilytism]] using crystals.

This was not the end of his story, however, as his guilt-stricken killer admitted to hacking. Revived and refreshed, Rug went on to join both the [[Legion of Concordia]] and the [[Pumpkin Cult]], making more friends along the way. Then on his way to meet up with [[Cozier]] at [[Redstone Ridge]], he crashed and died again in a trident-elytra accident. Still, his story was far from over. Over the next three months, Rug would lurk in the server discord, jesting that one day he would be revived. Lo and behold, he was again revived after the server owners found out that Folia had a damage increase when crashing into unloaded chunks.

== The Banning of 159 ==
Imediatly after being revived, Rug started his quest for revenge, as whilst he was dead, The well known player killer,[[1590283112|1590283112,]] murdered most of his friends, and outright destroyed the [[Pumpkin Cult]]. Rug swore whilst dead that WHEN he gets revived he would put an end to [[1590283112]] and his rampage.

This ultimatly culminated after his revive in the trapping of 159 at Slush (SanitaryRug's first group base that was left abandoned after the death of [[Cozier_]]). SanitaryRug spent 2 months filling the base with traps, most of which were instant kill tnt minecart traps, however SanitaryRug added one joke trap that was still deadly but did not instant kill, this one made use of husks holding spears, each of the husks were named after one of 159's victims. This additionall joke trap ended up being SanitaryRug's greatest mistake, as 159 would skip over the many other instant death tnt minecart traps, and fell right into the husk trap, and after just narrowly being able to re-totem, 159 combat logged inside the trap, and stupidly contacted Aluminimium, a former [[Pumpkin Cult]] member, to free him from the trap. Aluminimium had not forgotten what 159 did to the [[Pumpkin Cult]], and quickly contacted SanitaryRug to inform him that 159 had logged out in his trap. Alu also contacted [[Order of the Sanctum|OTS]], the group he joined after the fall of the [[Pumpkin Cult]]. Together, SanitaryRug and [[Order of the Sanctum|OTS]] camped 159's logout for 3 days straight, sucessfully fighting off wave after wave of 159's allys. This caused 159 to get desperate, so he begged [[The Beach]] for help. The Beach were origionally 159's enemies, but agreed to help because they were mad at [[Order of the Sanctum|OTS]] for not sharing the cords of 159's loggout trap with them. The Beach then showed up, and after a day of fighting with SanitaryRug and [[Order of the Sanctum|OTS]], they were able to free 159 from his loggout trap.

After 159 was freed from the loggout trap, his ego was shattered, and he was desperate to get back at SanitaryRug, so he impersonated SanitaryRug in the LHC Discord, saying a bunch of very bad stuff intending to make SanitaryRug look bad. However, impersonation is against the server rules, and this time 159 wouldnt get leaniency as he had already been forgiven for many bannable chat vialations in the past. This resulted in SanitaryRug successfully getting 159 permanently banned from LHC.
