Team Vortex is the second largest known group in the server as of the writing. The group is mostly focused on exploration and farming resources, with one of their achievements being mapping a 9x9 full scale map around their base (6.000 x 6.000 area).

== Foundation ==
Founded by [[ComplexFrquency]] and [[Smartercob]] on April 18th 2025 after Smartercob found ComplexFrquency's base. Smarter was looking for a team, found Complex's base and liked it, and asked to live with him. This marked the start of their friendship. A day before that, players [[spartan2185]] and [[PoorGrammar313]] found his base too, and realized they were neighbors living about one thousand blocks apart. They agreed on not being hostile with each other.

During [[The Age of Evil]], the team saw more frequent collaborations with PoorGrammar313, and soon him and spartan2185 joined the team. After PoorGrammar was almost killed in [[Zanther76]]'s base by [[2344523432]], the team invited Zanther76 to join, to which he accepted. After some discussion they decided to live together and relocate towards a further place underground for added safety, given the fact that the server had seen increased player kills.

The Age of Destruction

ComplexFrequency: added kosmiau and vines antics

Marked by the appearance of several griefers right after the death of [[BlueLegionary]], the age of destruction began after the 0, 0 region got lava casted by [[XenoKino]] and further lava casted by an unknown player on April 9th. This happened amid discussions on polls towards the banning of Lava Casts, which resulted in an agreement to disable them. Because of this decision, the 0, 0 lava cast was reverted by the admins.

On April 19th, player [[StarForgeXL]] joined and immediately griefed [[ComplexFrquency]], [[vines420]] and [[FatherCreams]] old base, as well as a nearby desert settlement. He posted a [https://discord.com/channels/1324080813607747584/1336831455212343440/1363183274922611148 message in the Discord server] stating that he would destroy all bases he found. This message contained a few screenshots of him destroying the desert settlement, which ComplexFrquency quickly identified. Complex then decided to immediately look for StarForgeXL, asking the [[Skulk Syndicate]] for help, marking the first collaboration between [[Team Vortex]] and the Skulk Syndicate. They quickly found and killed StarForgeXL in the nearby Savanna biome.

On that same day, the famous trapping of [[SillySelene]] took place, which was a joint collaboration between the Skulk Syndicate, [[noavier]] (who soon after joined the group) and [[Moctezuma0]]. For more info on this event, see [[Skulk Syndicate]].

During the Age of Destruction, player [[Kosmiau]] set up trapped houses near spawn to kill newer players, amassing a death count of at least 11, quickly turning him into the highest kill count player on the server. The trapped houses had no identification, however [[vines420]] put effort into defusing them and investigating the culprit, and soon he determined that it must have been Kosmiau based on the statistics of placed blocks used for the traps, such as Skulk Sensors.

The Age of Evil denotes a period of heightened conflict on the server, commencing on April 26th following a brief interval of peace after the preceding Age of Destruction.

== Initial Conflicts ==
The period began with several player deaths documented by user [[R2aye]]. First, player [[FatherCreams]] killed [[baggsbrozYT]], an event [https://youtu.be/RtZ-XVEls-U captured on video]. Shortly thereafter, player [[Weerwy]] constructed a tall pillar and killed himself, also [https://youtu.be/FE3mgyqLh8Q documented]. Subsequently, FatherCreams was killed by a surprise end crystal attack by player [[2344523432]], [https://youtu.be/ICTzCfDQ-3w also captured on video].

Later that day, player [[USPingLord]] reportedly attempted to kill player [[spartan2185]] at R2aye's base but was unsuccessful. Following this, player 2344523432, who shared r2aye's base, set a TNT trap within the librarian room, allegedly targeting USPingLord. 2344523432 warned R2aye against entering the room without providing specifics. R2aye entered the room, triggered the trap, and died as a result. This incident led to increased suspicion directed towards 2344523432.

== Escalation and The Hqllxween Accords ==
On April 27th, players [[6Dike]] and [[Hqllxween]] confronted [[Noavier]], known as an experienced combatant, near the server's spawn point. The conflict, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YPPAdbxT0I documented on video], resulted in Hqllxween's death by Noavier. Noavier later stated the objective was not to kill them, but they felt threatened by Hqllxween's end crystals.

These events spurred server-wide discussion regarding the use of end crystals in PvP combat. In response, player [[Moctezuma0]] authored a document titled [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hCM_IUD8c-QPD3RDkDi8hTAZ1gK_JU3I4N5s4dUCSwg/edit?usp=sharing The Hqllxween Accords], aimed at regulating end crystal use. As of the writing of this, the document had garnered five signatories.

== 2344523432 Manhunt and Further Conflicts ==
On April 28th, player [[PoorGrammar313]] was ambushed by 2344523432 at [[Zanther76]]'s base. PoorGrammar313 issued a call for assistance, prompting members of both [[Team Vortex]] and [[Skulk Syndicate]] to converge on the location. 2344523432 managed to evade capture. This marked the second instance of these two player groups collaborating on a manhunt. PoorGrammar313 later logged back into the server safely, while 2344523432 reportedly vowed to kill him.

On April 29th, player [[keystrokelogger]] engaged in combat with 2344523432 in the End dimension, resulting in keystrokelogger's death. Later that day, player [[Niskashaa]] was killed by USPingLord. Despite their player killing aspirations, 2344523432 and USPingLord declared themselves enemies and engaged in combat in the End on the same day. Both players survived the encounter, with USPingLord reportedly conceding victory to 2344523432 while retreating.

ComplexFrequency: Added a bunch of lore

After a brief peaceful period following [[The Age of Destruction]], the Age of Evil kicked off on April 26th when [[FatherCreams]] killed [[baggsbrozYT]] for being annoying (https://youtu.be/RtZ-XVEls-U). Briefly after, [[Weerwy]] suicided (https://youtu.be/FE3mgyqLh8Q) and FatherCreams was killed by [[2344523432]] on a surprise crystal attack (https://youtu.be/ICTzCfDQ-3w). All videos were documented by [[R2aye]]. These three deaths marked the beginning of a very gruesome period. On that same day, player [[USPingLord]] attempted to kill [[spartan2185]] at r2aye's base but failed. Shortly after, 2344523432 trapped the librarian room of his and r2aye's base trying to catch USPingLord, telling r2aye to not go inside without elaborating further. R2aye did not follow that advice and triggered the TNT trap, dying right after. This raised suspicions on 2344523432.

A day later, players [[6Dike]] and [[Hqllxween]] engaged in a fight near spawn against [[Noavier]], one of the most experienced fighters in the server. He managed to kill Hqllxween (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YPPAdbxT0I) for possession of end crystals, later stating that he did not actually intended to kill them. These deaths kicked off discussions against the usage of end crystals. Death is the permanent and irreversible cessation of a player’s participation on Legendary Hardcore. Upon dying, a player cannot respawn and is immediately banned from the server.

As of the 21st of April 2025, 790 player deaths have been recorded, with the average lifetime of a player being 6 hours. The shortest life was that of Darix075, who died from a burning zombie after just 9 seconds on the 1st of April 2025. Players are generally most vulnerable during the first hour of playtime where they are at the highest risk of dying to hostile mobs or environmental hazards.

Upon joining the server, Complex spent their initial time near the spawn point gathering basic resources. They successfully acquired a full set of enchanted Iron armor (Protection I/II) and a Diamond Pickaxe. Trap Houses were a series of structures built near the server's spawn point, primarily constructed by the player [[Kosmiau]]. These buildings were designed with the intent to lure players, particularly newer arrivals, inside before eliminating them through various concealed mechanisms.

The traps proved effective, leading to the deaths of at least 11 documented players as of April 19. This activity established Kosmiau as the player with the highest number of player kills on the server during that period.
