The Church of the Poppy was not created to satisfy the living, but to honour the dead.

Amongst their members was Grpp, a skeptic by nature. He held no interest in honouring the dead, and the Church's isolated spot left him hungry for combat, but he endured. He stayed solely because he enjoyed the companionship.

The Founders were Voodoospirits and Pineapplefish1, joined by [[StrayTunic]], [[IBlameMySyndrome]], [[Otacato]], and Grpp.

His initiation into the world was swift, stumbling past phenomena like the Crafting Isle, Floating Treehouse, Nether Highway, and finally arriving at the First Field, where the Church resides. The field was glowing with remembrance, a field of poppies, a field of souls, a field of life and death.

With Pineapplefish1 and Voodoospirits' help, Grpp secured enchanted diamond assets, and even built a small home for himself within the Church's soil.

His favourite time is night. That's when he gets to shine. The Church and The Phantoms clash every nightfall, fulfilling Grpp's need for combat.

Grpp was finally settling in.

Then, everything crashed.

[[Voodoospirits]] discovered a sort of highway in The End. Curious, he took a boat and treaded for thirty-seven thousand blocks, stopping off at an end city to restock and grab loot. However, during what was supposed to be a simple hit and run, the walls echoed and suddenly opened up, shulkers firing from left right and centre. Floating uncontrollably, the Highway in the distance, Voodoospirits' armour shattered. His totems ran dry, and his elytra still waiting to be claimed. In an act of desperation, he threw his pearl, unaware it would be his last breath.

Voodoospirits never returned from his expedition.

After a grave was erected in his honour, Grpp grew an obsession with The End, his compass pointing out towards the vast open space of nothing. His Journey to the Sky had begun, but he didn't want to start it alone. He asked Pineapplefish1 to embark alongside him. Pineapplefish1 agreed, and the two entered The End portal, discussing plans of a celebration for when they got back.

Throughout the End Highway, the two found various signs from previous travellers, end cities, even the same city Voodoospirits had vanished. They didn't stop there. Despite a couple warnings, the two pushed through.

The end of the Highway, laid ancient machinery used to construct the highway, a board with names of those who crossed the highway, and boats from their travels. The two came face to face with the border itself. It wasn't part of their original plan, but their curiosity swallowed like the sea.

When Grpp first entered, they both lost their minds, finally figuring out the border wasn't as impenetrable as they thought.

[[Pineapplefish1]] followed suit, and they both relished in the moment of bypassing the confines of the world.

Pineapplefish1 slipped. Fell. She quickly donned her elytra, boosting her rockets as she felt the vacuum of space surging through her body. Her hands trembling, she drew her final breath, mere meters away from safety against the ruthless border.

Grpp watched Pineapplefish1's body flash in a beam of light, before getting eradicated from the world itself. In a panic, he rushed forward to secure the pieces of history she left behind, enduring through the powerful force against the border. He secured at least half, before dropping to the ground, eating before getting back up. He breached back through the border, running to get the rest of it, but in his way back, he stumbled, stumbled over his own suffocation, and with a final step, his body was eradicated, leaving the confines of the world. All of his items, reduced to history. Their heads will never be found.

Rumours spread through The Church that you can see his soul wandering through the sky. I guess he finally made it.

He also started to notice the high amount of new players that were being killed by this group, and decided it was time to take matters into his own hands. After a lot of back and forth in chat, 159 asked a new player called AEKShow for his coordinates as he knew his fate was sealed, having met up with TheAcidWitch13 already. He got the coordinates from him and on his way there, he saw AEKShow get maced for unknown reasons. 159 asked "whats the reason for that one" knowing she wouldn't have a good reason to be killing someone with 30 minutes of playtime. She then said her final message on the server "1590283112 go brush your teeth g" and was crystalled to death within 5 seconds of hitting enter. Putting an end to her 673+ hour journey on the server, and shocking the whole server while doing so.

In the end DM placed a bounty of "a shulker of crystals and 16 ingots for 159s head" Unknown to DM, 159 was flying to his base during this whole exchange, using a Lodestone Compass he found in TheAcidWitch13's ender chest. DM was oblivious to this, and merely 4 minutes after DM had stopped talking in chat, 159 dropped into his base and crystalled him to death while he was tabbed out messaging his friends. 10 hours and 19 minutes after the death of TheAcidWitch13. It is believed that deerjammer used Entity Radar to track 159 from above to perfect the mace hit, but this was never proven. In the following days the 2 would have many fights around spawn, with 159 using end crystals to combat deerjammer's elytra + mace attacks, many totems were exchanged but nothing came from the fights until on the 21st of February, 159 logged in and spotted deerjammer on the main end island summoning dragons to kill them. He quickly maced deerjammer and started spamming end crystals until deerjammer ran out of totems and died, ending their 470+ hour journey on the server.

He became widely known for his involvement in the deaths of prominent players, including [[TheAcidWitch13]] and [[DM1600]]. His actions sparked controversy, particularly due to offensive accusations he directed at TheAcidWitch13.

The killing of DM1600 was especially disputed. He killed DM1600 inside his own base, despite supposedly not knowing its location. It was later discovered that he possessed a compass obtained from TheAcidWitch13’s ender chest, which was set to point toward DM1600’s base. While camping the end 159 saw [[ASweatyPotato]] and [[Cozier_]] while scaring them off cozier started flying in a vertical direction and tragically fell into the void dying and her head is speculated to be in the possession of 159. After dying to server lag a member of [[Legion of Condcordia|LoC]] [[ASweatyPotato]] after nearly avoiding dying to 159 the same day as Cozier_ he began to celebrate the death of 159 but when 159 got revived he made it his mission to kill potato for this.

He became widely known for his involvement in the deaths of prominent players, including [[TheAcidWitch13]] and [[DM1600]]. His actions sparked controversy, particularly due to offensive accusations he directed at TheAcidWitch13.

The killing of DM1600 was especially disputed. He killed DM1600 inside his own base, despite supposedly not knowing its location. It was later discovered that he possessed a compass obtained from TheAcidWitch13’s ender chest, which was set to point toward DM1600’s base. While camping the end 159 saw [[ASweatyPotato]] and [[Cozier_]] while scaring them off cozier started flying in a vertical direction and tragically fell into the void dying and her head is speculated to be in the possession of 159. After dying to server lag a member of [[Legion of Condcordia|LoC]] [[ASweatyPotato]] after nearly avoiding dying to 159 the same day as Cozier_ he began to celebrate the death of 159 but when 159 got revived he made it his mission to kill potato for this.

On the same day TheAcidWitch13 was killed, DM1600 (a close friend of hers) joined the server looking to get instant revenge on 159. His first message was "159 wanna fight?" and after he was ignored he went crazy in the chat. Hurling insults at 159, calling him an alt account, asking to be put on his notorious "list", he even accused the owner Jake of being corrupt due to 159 knowing him before the launch of this server. In the end DM placed a bounty of "a shulker of crystals and 16 ingots for 159s head" Unknown to DM, 159 was flying to his base during this whole exchange, using a Lodestone Compass he found in TheAcidWitch13's ender chest. DM was oblivious to this, and merely 4 minutes after DM had stopped talking in chat, 159 dropped into his base and crystalled him to death while he was tabbed out messaging his friends. 10 hours and 19 minutes after the death of TheAcidWitch13. Ending his 416+ hour journey on the server.

Following the death of TheAcidWitch13 & DM1600, deerjammer began seeking revenge on 159. on the 19th of February, deerjammer caught 159 off guard at spawn by dropping from Y=1000 and using a mace to break all of his armor off him in one hit. It is believed that deerjammer used Entity Radar to track 159 from above to perfect the mace hit, but this was never proven. In the following days the 2 would have many fights around spawn, with 159 using end crystals to combat deerjammer's elytra + mace attacks, many totems were exchanged but nothing came from the fights until on the 21st of February, 159 logged in and spotted deerjammer on the main end island summoning dragons to kill them. He quickly maced deerjammer and started spamming end crystals until deerjammer ran out of totems and died, ending their 470+ hour journey on the server.

Super Piglin is a legendary and unconfirmed mob created by nefunguje_0. Super Piglin can "2 tap cpvpers" and is stored in a "secret location" in a the Nether. Super Piglin is stored in a 4x4x2 area that makes it difficult for cpvpers to combat it. It also has the "trample" ability, which allows it to block the placement of anchors.

Super Piglin is created by taking a piglin, giving it a Sharp 5 netherite sword, full blast prot & thorns Netherite armor, strength 2 and speed 2. It is a master weapon that nefunguje_0 has vowed to only use for good.

Some Super Piglin Skeptics have raised issues with this weapon of mass destruction (see screenshot below). However, the debate on the efficacy of Super Piglin remains ongoing.

== Backstory ==
Following the death of [[BlueLegionary]], once the symbolic figurehead of the Age of Blood, the server plunged into an era of relentless violence, chaos, and betrayal. This dark chapter—initially fractured into the Age of War, Age of Destruction, and Age of Evil—is now recognized collectively as the Age of Carnage. Named by [[Smartercob]], who began the new era, this period marks a brutal turning point in server history.

== The Collapse Begins ==
In the immediate aftermath of the [[Death of BlueLegionary]], conflict erupted across the server. New players suffered the most as murders surged. During this period, griefers emerged in droves. On April 9th, player [[XenoKino]] lava-casted the 0,0 region, sparking server-wide debates about griefing boundaries. This was followed by a second, larger lava cast from an unknown player. Amid growing community pressure, lava casts were officially banned, and the 0,0 region was restored by server admins.

== The Rise of Destruction ==
On April 19th, the server descended further with the arrival of [[StarForgeXL]], who immediately griefed bases belonging to [[ComplexFrquency]], [[vines420]], and [[FatherCream]]. He publicly declared his intent to destroy all bases, sharing screenshots of his actions. [[ComplexFrquency]], enraged, rallied help from the [[Skulk Syndicate]], forming the first-ever collaboration between [[Team Vortex]] and the [[Skulk Syndicate|Syndicate]]. Together, they tracked and executed [[StarForgeXL]] in a nearby savanna biome.

The same day, a high-profile trap was sprung on [[SillySelene]]. This was a coordinated operation by the [[Skulk Syndicate]], [[noavier]] (who officially joined the group soon after), and [[Moctezuma0]]. This event further cemented the Syndicate’s growing influence.

During this time, [[Kosmiau]] became notorious for setting trapped houses near spawn, leading to at least 11 confirmed player deaths. Investigation led by [[vines420]], who analyzed block statistics (notably Skulk Sensors), identified [[Kosmiau]] as the culprit.

== The Descent into Evil ==
After a brief lull, violence spiked once again on April 26th. Player [[R2aye]] began documenting a series of dramatic deaths:

* [[FatherCreams]] killed [[baggsbrozYT]] on video.
* [[Weerwy]] committed suicide atop a pillar.
* [[2344523432]] ambushed and killed [[FatherCreams]] using an end crystal.

Later, [[USPingLord]] attempted and failed to assassinate [[spartan2185]] at R2aye’s base. That same day, [[2344523432]] rigged a TNT trap in the base’s librarian room, allegedly targeting [[USPingLord]]. However, [[R2aye]] triggered the trap and was killed, heightening distrust toward [[2344523432]].

== Regulation and Resistance ==
On April 27th, [[6Dike]] and [[Hqllxween]] confronted noavier near spawn. A tense standoff escalated, ending in Hqllxween’s death. [[Noavier]] later claimed self-defense, citing the threat of Hqllxween’s end crystals. In response to the controversy, [[Moctezuma0]] authored [[The Hqllxween Accords]], a proposed PvP guideline restricting end crystal use. Five players signed the document shortly after.

== Ongoing Violence and Pursuits ==
The chaos escalated on April 28th, when [[2344523432]] ambushed [[PoorGrammar313]] at [[Zanther76]]’s base. PoorGrammar313’s emergency call prompted a second joint response by members of [[Team Vortex]] and [[Skulk Syndicate]] (Specifically [[Smartercob|SmarterCob]] from [[Team Vortex]], [[McSlimy]] from the [[Skulk Syndicate]], and [[mordaken]]), but [[2344523432]] evaded capture. He vowed revenge against [[PoorGrammar313]].

On April 29th, [[2344523432]] killed [[keystrokelogger]] in the End. Hours later, [[USPingLord]] killed [[Niskashaa]], but soon after, the two murderers turned on each other. USPinglord challenged 2344523432 to a duel to fight where their feud all started from. However, when the time of the duel arrived, it was not 2344523432 who was fighting USPingLord, it was noavier. Using an invisibility potion, noavier fought in 2344523432's spot without USPinglord knowing. They fought at Bridgetown, with both surviving. [[USPingLord]] ultimately conceded victory and retreated.

On May 5th, [[2344523432]] killed lagging [[webscape]] while webscape was destroying [[ice castle]], later the same day 2344523432 jumped [[damaskuzzz]] with the mace in the End but failed killing him.

On May 7th, [[2344523432]] and [[Ivcxvv]] dueled without crystals and maces at the spawn, ivcxvv let his guard down during a break and got crystalled.

== Slaughter weeks ==
After some time of peace, a bunch of players joined, they killed 7 people in 7 days, and always had an excuse such as self-defence. One of those players was [[Stamidios]] who played his act untill the end. After being revealed as cold murderer, he kept killing, however unlike [[2344523432]], his friend gruop didn't separate players into those who is allowed to be killed and those who is not.

After the death of [[HannahSummers123]] by Stamidios, he was banned for unfair advantage. And everyone he killed was allowed to join back. So his friend [[nightmere_25]] promised to avenge him. After killing 3 newbies he got banned for the same reason.

In 3 weeks they killed about 20 people, most of them are revived.

== Intermission ==
After weeks of violence and death, server finally exhaled, as death by players decreased. But natural deaths was still kicking, so multiple players joined or collaborated with [[The Hive Organisation|The Hive]] to help newbies survive. Even some players that are not associated with this charity organisation helped newbies themselves. All that had an effect, and the amount of players online risen. However that had it own results, violence between newbies increased:

ViziroinTV Armor Conflict

= ViziroinTV’s Death and the Aftermath =
After [[ViziroinTV]]’s death, [[Smartercob]] — who had been with him when it happened — collected Viz’s dropped gear and shulker boxes. Cob hadn’t really planned for what would come next. At first, he simply intended to build a grave for Viz, a small way to honor him.

= The Team’s Request =
Not long after, members of Viz’s team — [[McSlimy]], [[Muffbandit2000]], [[Noavier]], [[Darktyui]], and [[shaunstuck]] — reached out to Cob. They asked for Viz’s head and his items to be returned. Cob agreed to hand everything back but couldn’t do it immediately since he was busy with other things on the server.

Eventually, Cob met up with McSlimy and handed over Viz’s head. The rest of Viz’s items, though, were still stored safely at [[BlueLegionary]]’s old base — a place pretty far away. Cob let them know the items were there, but over time, after asking a few more times, Viz’s team started to lose patience.

= Meeting With Noavier =
Cob was friends with everyone on Viz’s team, especially Noavier, so when Noavier asked to meet up, Cob didn’t think much of it. Noavier said he had a "gift" for Cob, and they ended up hanging out and messing around a bit underground.

Without warning, though, Noavier started attacking Cob, almost killing him. After the sudden fight, Noavier explained that the team was frustrated and really wanted Viz’s items back. Cob, still confused, told him again that they were at Blue’s base, just like he had said before.

= Trouble Over the Sword =
After things calmed down a little, Cob accidentally dropped his sword — a sword that had belonged to his old teammate, Coyote333. It was pretty sentimental to him.

Noavier picked it up, and that’s when things took another turn. He told Cob that they believed the armor wasn’t where Cob said it was. Even though Cob apologized and tried to clear things up, they still made him a deal: '''20 netherite''' in exchange for getting the sword back.

Cob was frustrated and hurt by the whole situation but didn’t argue. He decided to prove he was telling the truth.

= Clearing Things Up =
Cob immediately flew over to Blue’s old base, where — just as he had said — all of Viz’s armor and items were still there, untouched. He packed everything up and met back with Noavier at spawn.

Cob handed over a shulker box containing all the missing items, finally putting an end to the argument.

= Moving Forward =
Even after everything, Cob never got an apology for what happened. The situation definitely left some tension between him and Viz’s old team, but at the end of the day, Cob was glad he followed through on his word — even if it didn’t end the way he hoped.
